- Now that we've been back to school for a couple of weeks it's time to restock our LUNCH supplies! In this HUGE (2 week) grocery haul we go to a discount grocery store, we go to Trader Joe's and COSTCO.
We stuck to our meal plan and our budget, but we also stocked up the freezer and pantry...now all I have to do it organize it.
P.S. We found lots of Christmas toys and decorations at Costco! I can't believe they have Christmas trees already, it's only September!

Our family likes those lil smokies with bbq sauce as well. Strawberries don't last very long in our house. That ice cream sounded super yummy. Great video as always. Thanks for sharing with us!

Great haul. I like Annie's products. I really like the peanut butter cookie mix. It's better than homemade. I didn't know Halo had the gingerbread ice cream out. I'll have to look for it. Take care and God bless you all.
In Denmark we actually eat the Æbleskiver/Pancake Puffs as a dessert or snack with jam and powdered sugar, around Christmas 😊

I love your grocery hauls. That discount grocery store has great prices. I wish there was one near me. Groceries is the budget line item I've had to adjust most frequently in the last year. Unfortunately, always up! We rarely eat away from home, but it is getting harder and harder to save money on food. I've made 2 nights per week meatless and I'm still spending what I think is too much on food...sigh...It's just a challenge! Thanks for sharing what you do for your large family. It really is helpful.
My sister and mom make Carrot cake Jam which is close to that spread and everyone loves that Jam and it's really good.We actually can lots of Jam. I think you will like the spread.

We tried something new at Costco. Organic marinated mushrooms. My sister doesn’t like mushrooms but she loves the marinated ones!

For the little smokies, try a jar of chili sauce and a jar of grape jelly. Not very spicy at all. Oh so delicious!

If you put the kind bars in a lunch box with an ice pack, they get SUPER hard, especially for little teeth. Thought you should know, but this is just my personal experience so if you want to try it, go for it :)

Yes, the items are close to expiration or things that just were not selling at other stores
I bought that shampoo and conditioner when it was on sale, and it was the worst thing to ever touch my hair. It made it sticky and stringy. Dunno if it's just my hair, but that did not agree with my hair.

Have you tried tattor tot casserole? (Mac and cheese and cut up hot dogs on the bottom), and tattor tots on top (sometimes we think alike). I'm having it tonight. I use those foil pan things for easy clean up. Also, Amy's organic chili is really good as a dip if mixed with melted Velvetta cheese), and tortilla chips. I didn't know Annie's made crescent rolls, we don't have that here. Mums are my birth flower. I was sick last week. Totally threw me off this week.
Hopefully you use the Ibotta app you can save lots of money on that up ;)

Is Costco the same as BJ's because where I live there's no Costco just BJ's 😞 and it looks like they have some really good stuff and cheaper too!! 😞

It depends on the store, Grocery outlet is always different so not really for there, but we have usual things for costco and trader joes

I would not recommend eating the halo top ice cream or contains a sugar alcohol called erythritol and it can result in headaches, and many other side effects so I would recommend to do some research on erythritol, and then make your choice for buying it again
