Yes, so long as other people are working on preventing such mindless waste-management at the city and cultural level. My 4-yr old used to produce dozens of dirty diapers per day, when she was a toddler. The solution wasn’t to get better at changing her diaper, the solution was to teach her how to use the toilet. Now there’s zero dirty diapers. That’s called an analogy, and I trust you can apply that to this situation.
My deepest respect and gratitude to these wonderful people. We need more of this, but what we need most is to educate the people not to toss their trash into the waterways. Ultimately everyone suffers if this bad behaviour continues unabated.
People aren’t putting their trash directly in the river. They’re throwing it in the streets in a city upriver, and every time they get a heavy rain trash gets washed through the street drainage system and into the river.

Incredibly important work.. THANK YOU!
I remember doing a research paper on ocean clean up back in 2018 when they were still starting up the project for the pacific garbage patch and look how much they have grown to helping so many places now always amazes me
Amazing. Keep up the great work!❤️
I’m absolutely impressed by the work and improvement that is going into this project to clean up the waters. I’ve learned in life that some people litter because they don’t have that knowledge of the impact of trash and others just don’t care. Either way, this really is about taking pride in our communities
This's what celebrities should be speaking out about! Sadly, many like myself will accidentally scroll across this in YT shorts. Thank-you Earth lovers!❤❤❤
Since I've been sorting garbage, I've noticed that most of it is plastic. They should introduce a law that if packaging is not recyclable, they should ban its sale.
We might help with small things
Some options
1- Carry my own reusable water bottle so I don't need to throw it.
2 - If I don't find any trash can nearby, keep the empty packets with me in my pocket or purse by folding it in the smallest.
3- In my house, Segregation of reusable plastic trash, decomposable trash(fruit and food remains etc.) and other trash.
Thank you to the company that did this for my family's motherland. ❤.
This earth is not your land. Humans are the overpopulated cancer destroying it
Mis respetos señores, ustedes están creando la diferencia y predicando con el ejemplo, ojalá muchos otros países los imiten
They are doing this in SE Asia. Most of the trash in the "Great Pacific Garbage Patch" (90%) comes from there.
@Norita72cox - Estoy mucho de acuerdo con usted. Muchas felicidades para usted y su familia.
The planet needs you, everywhere in the world.
Thank you guys for your ingenuity❤❤
This is amazing work. An actual job that really makes a difference to the entire 🌏. You should be proud of yourself’s. Actions speak louder than words. Your taking action my man. Much Respect brother. Peace from Èire 🇮🇪

You are saints. The world needs more people thinking of things like this
God bless these amazing men❤
Incredible and i love the positivity moving forward with the project. This is so important
Our beaches in Honduras were saturated with trash from Rio Motagua. It's a relief to see they are taking measure to keep the trash in place. Good job.😊
Do you have volunteers that "adopt" beaches to keep clean? We do that in America with beaches, National Parks and highways ❤️🤍💙
@@spongemonkeysooz Yeah, we do have volunteers, but the trash was too much every day. Various affected countries from Latin America specially Honduras is planning and analizing to start an internacional demand against Guatemala due to the severe contamination on the oceans and marine life. We need at least $200 millions to invest and stop this terrific pollution. Its very sad but we are working on it.
YES 🙌🏽 and thank you to this company and amazing team of people, we need more people like you guys in this gorgeous world 🌎 of ours. We’ve only got one home 😢
You guys rock. I like your methods and your results.
Good to see they are trying to clean up this mess. My hats off to you and anyone else that at least tries to do something for the good of everyone.
Love it when people/organizations/administrations, take action vs talking. Good stuff!
Thank you for your work. We need to stand together globally and demand better solutions for products other than single use plastic 😭
Effluent screens work pretty well we use them in water treatment as a backup for our rotary screens . Typically don't have to clean them very often unless the rotary screen is being serviced .
I was in Gualan region when this happened and a local river in our village took several homes and we lost all utilities for many weeks. Really made me appreciate having easy access to food, water, and energy. We take so much for granted...
Crying in Floridian...
People don't care until it hits them financially. I hate plastic. Although it is unavoidable.
As a human being, I thank you from the bottom of my heart. You are saving our future.
Mhm
Yes, so long as other people are working on preventing such mindless waste-management at the city and cultural level. My 4-yr old used to produce dozens of dirty diapers per day, when she was a toddler. The solution wasn’t to get better at changing her diaper, the solution was to teach her how to use the toilet. Now there’s zero dirty diapers. That’s called an analogy, and I trust you can apply that to this situation.
Government should educate their people first and foremost to look after mother nature
Even if this doesn't affect much on a global scale...im glad that people still care
@@Natediggetydog Correct, but they know it's wrong and they know exactly where their trash will end up. In the waterways.
@@NatediggetydogThey are still just abandoning it and leaving it for someone else to deal with
Educate people? Everyone knows this already, they just don't care.
@@Natediggetydog yeah well as usual the wit man has to educate people on how to get sh** done
Incredible humanitarian work!! I think I speak for everyone.. thank you for keeping the oceans cleaner😊
