What an amazing celebration! I am glad you convinced Lady Russia to let you film her so we see your whole family. The boys look deadly with their Taekwondo. I will walk to the other side of the street for safety if I see them! My parents had not so much money when we were young, so Christmas was always magical. We got nuts and some chocolates finally. Our presents always included new pajamas, socks, and under pants along with a couple of toys. It seems this is common in Russia also. Christmas and New Years were the only nights we were allowed to stay up so late. On Christmas, because we are Catholic, we went to church at midnight. For New Years we could stay up until 30 minutes beyond midnight. New Years meal was also special, as my mother would let us have a very small glass of wine with the meal. I think today this is not allowed. I have one question about Ded Moroz. I read that his coat may be either red or blue, but the article does not tell me if there is a reason for one color or other. Does it depend upon region?
Thank you very much!😀 I don't know exactly why Ded Moroz comes dressed in blue and red. But there is this version: in ancient Russia, Ded Moroz always wore a blue and sometimes a white coat. When the revolution happened, Ded Moroz was dressed in red, because it coincided with the color of the Soviet Union flag. That's why we have a red Ded Moroz most often, but the blue one also stayed in his job. 😆 No one really pays much attention to what color he is. Also, red Ded Moroz looks more like Santa, we watch a lot of Hollywood movies and it has an impact. By the way an interesting fact! When I was a kid, I definitely remember that Ded Moroz rode a trio of horses. You can see it even in old Soviet movies. But today, in pictures and street decorations, Ded Moroz is more and more often surrounded by reindeer. I think this is also a Western influence. Or maybe it's because all the street decorations are bought in China, where Santa is drawn more often. The Chinese are more oriented toward the Western market or they don't see the difference between Santa Claus and Ded Moroz. 😃
@@JamieCowboyNo-Name To find out what an "I" formation is, I had to look up wikipedia. 😀 We don't play American football in Russia, so we don't even know what it is. 😁
We first gave the kids pajamas because the old pajamas were getting too small for them. In previous years, Ded Moroz gave them more toys and sweets. Now they don't play toys much, because they are more interested in video games.
@@sir_russia Ded Moroz riding horses make perfect sense. In very famous novel "Animal Farm" the horse is allegory for the hard working men who helped remove Tsar Nickolas and establish the Soviet Union. The only soviet movie I have watched is Ста́лкер. No horses there, but it was good movie.
Great family celebration 🎉 You got more stuff than I did. 😂 I like the hat. Your wife was dressed up. You should have gotten a babysitter for some 2am clubs and dancing. We went to a party 🎉 down the street and I think I got COVID again. And very drunk. Your kids looked like they had a great time. Santa was a really good idea. Anyway, great video! We'll wait for the next one. Y'all stay warm.
That is a great video and beautiful family, my friend! Thank you for sharing. I’m curious, which editing software do you use? I’m using davinci resolve and will have a video posted in a few days. Take care.
Thank you. I use Movavi software to edit videos. This video editor is very simple, inexpensive and of high quality. Interesting fact - this video editor was created in a Siberian company, whose office is located in our city. I was in that office and talked to the developers of this software. I told them what features should be added to this software. I know that Movavi sells all over the world. You can buy it online: www.movavi.com/ I tried creating videos in Davinci resolve, but then I stopped doing it. It is a professional video editor and I found it too complicated. There are a lot of features I don't need. Movavi is much simpler: it's a video editing program for amateur filmmakers who don't have time to learn all the features.
Here's a video of how I went to Movavi: ruclips.net/video/ZlGUFK99W5Q/видео.html This video is on my other channel and is in Russian. But you can see what a Siberian IT company whose products are sold all over the world looks like.
Hello Sir. I want to let you know I posted my first (crudely) edited video. It’s called Kangaroo Ranch. I’m looking forward to your critique. I hope you don’t laugh too hard. Hahaha
I make money online, but I write scripts, as you already know. You can make money online in many different ways. You can sell your products online, you can design online, you can do consulting in your industry, you can run online training courses... It all depends on what you know how to do.

Did I see the boys execute a perfect “I” formation?

@@sir_russia that makes sense. Davinci is a bit overwhelming.
@@sir_russia Very cool! I’ll stick with Resolve for now. Can’t beat the price -free. Maybe later when my skill improves I will consider a purchase.
