doesnt really work like that in fall guys tho considering he was gonna qualify anyway if hes even somewhat of a decent player. its not like hes giving people less time to complete the level or anything

depends on the game the designer is working on tbh. Like Neon White, those devs made the game for skips and speedrunning.
I feel like devs actually appreciate speedrunners because for them to do those amazing skips they have to experience and research every nook and cranny of the game

Watching the entire stream for Jotwad was beautiful
getting a skyward sword speedrun wr in an obscure category and then writing poetry about the run is probably the hardest flex ive ever seen in the speedrunning community
that isnt skyward sword, it isnt even the same console
regardless of whether or not i confused skyward sword with twilight princess with skyward sword my point still stands

Which sounds like a lot, but given it probably only takes 5-10 seconds to restart the game, you could probably beat that game in like 45 minutes. What's impressive is doing it consistently enough to beat it in 0.58 seconds, since 99.8% of the time you clicking quickly will be for not

@@HappyBeeGaming hard to remember since i wasn't connected to the community other than through him and a few tourneys that I snuck into, but i'm pretty sure he made like 700 bucks (in total) could be more or less, but the money was there either way

My brother did the clue speedrun with the board game a few years back on accident. He immediately guessed that it was his character that used a knife in the kitchen and he was spot on.
Honestly same for every game. Casual game turned competitive by every speed runner.
