I build rvs for a living, and we use similar tech in certain areas. You guys have done a good job on this.
I LOVE what you guys do! I love to Kayak, SUP, and id love to learn to sail someday :) i also want a teardrop camper! Yours is the most beautiful, and affordable!!! Please don’t change, what you guys are doing is perfect 🙏 I just need some time to save up ✨
Now all we need is for you to come up with a river boat hull that fits it!
Wow that looks so much better than my home made teardrop I might just shut down my channel and stop building mine. These are nice
Very cool building process. I wonder what the feasibility of stretching the design lengthwise would be...say 30%?
Simply brilliant!!
Nice, John. It looks great.
I Want!❤❤❤
Looks really cool and an interesting variation of the diy idea. Just curious what the average finished trailer towing weight is?
Súper .. Saludos desde Patagonia Chile
A thousand thumbs up! I absolutely love this concept, and I sure do want one! Have you, or anyone else, experimented with using the kit parts as templates for making parts out of rigid foam board--to be coated in fiberglass in the same manner? I would think that having the foam board sandwiched in fiberglass would create a strong, insulated shell that would be much lighter than the plywood version. I just don't know if it would be strong enough. I know there are fiberglass teardrop campers in existence already, so I would think this would be doable. I desperately want something my Prius can haul without sacrificing fuel economy any more than necessary. I would love the opportunity to try it! What do you think?
Hi, I was wondering if you offered built units for sale? Thank you for the great video!
A few people have asked...but I don't see an answer...do you offer completed models? If not, do you recommend any builders?
It looks like a second pair of hands or three is a good idea. Do you have a list of tools recommended for the build?
This is how I wanted to make it since I know how to glass.
super
Do the assembly mold and other pieces and parts come with the kit or I have to build them all by myshelf?
What about AC. I live in the south . Screens for the doors or windows would be nice.
I've seen a lot of these with AC mounted in the storage box forward, and screens are easy to arrange.
Is the kit available in Australia?
I assume the trailer isn't available /sold internationally? How do builders outside the US source a trailer to the correct specification for the completed camper; do you offer a plan for the trailer to allow local construction?
Thanks
Yes, through our agents, Denman Marine: www.clcboats.com/default/international.html#aus
As for trailers, great pains were taken to make the Teardrop fit on just about any old small trailer. A flatbed, or boat trailer, that sort of thing. No serious problem-solving required by the builder.
But what size trailer?
lindo...
hi there CLC, I was wondering if you guys supply this kit to the UK?
Yes, through our UK agents, Fyne Boat Kits: www.fyneboatkits.co.uk/
Chesapeake Light Craft awesome! I'll have to get in touch with them!
I have one on order from Fyne Boat Kits already.

It is slightly more than a long weekend's work to get to the finish show maybe you've got 2 people and you've done this before Still it's reasonable and I'm probably being hyper vigilantBecause epoxy does not forgive
