- I spent the week exploring Sun Moon Lake in Taiwan! Sun Moon Lake is the largest body of water in Taiwan. It is located in the center of the island and is absolutely beautiful! I had heard many good things about this lake and finally made my way there to experience it for myself. Sun Moon Lake is one of the most beautiful places in Taiwan that will take your breathe away!

Well I'm going to sun moon lake from Taipei and I don't know what's gonna happen there

Do you have any suggestions on getting to Sun Moon Lake from TaiYuan airport?
I recommend you to get to the lake from Taichung airport, that way is more closer

Two-three hours by bus.
IMO the best starting place to go there by bus is from Taichung, takes around 1 hour 15 minutes if you take the Nantou Bus from Xinwuri / HSR station. It's line 6670 if memory serves me well.
