thank you mariya and please keep this up boldly in spite of push back since word of caution is lacking for tattoos. i always had these feelings about tattoos. i have 1. the man who put it on me scammed me and despite getting it in honour of my mother i began hating it and wanting off, mostly because of who did it and i felt that in me.

I have had the urge to get a 6 inch angel tattoo for a while now, since my spiritual awakening.
There is a tattoo artist from Japan who I’ve wanted to work with for some time now and he happens to be tattooing in my area this month. I paid a deposit and have an upcoming appointment.
Although his work has a lot of angels and angel numbers, this profile photos on all his networks are very demonic in nature, which was the first red flag.
A week after paying my deposit I was scrolling through his latest post and there was a comment saying “does this tattoo also come with grooming allegations?”
This was another red flag that I choose to ignore.
I’ve been going back and forth on the placement of the tattoo and if I even still want to get it…
Last night I had a nightmare that I went to my appointment and that the tattoo artist ended up “taking a break” from my tattoo and never returned. In the nightmare I asked his coworkers to please check on him because I had been waiting for a long time for him to come back from his break.
As I’m waiting on them I hear a terrible scream as it turns out the artist had gone to do drugs and overdosed and died in the bathroom.
I remember looking at the half finished tattoo on my arm and then waking up.
This was the message I needed in order to make sense of that horrible nightmare and to cancel my appointment.

Great info. I was spiritually and energetically drawn to all of my tattoos. Many of them are paired due my Venus in Gemini. A pair of angel wings that cover my whole back that were done by an ex-minister, a pair of bows on my back thighs, a pair of lungs on my forearms with flowers growing out of them that are symbolic of the breath of life. They emphasize and celebrate my energetic makeup.

I'm thinking of the guy who gave me my only tattoo. We talked about training dogs. He struck me as a spiritual dude.
This definitely changes how I look at tattoos. I've changed my "energetic soup" and also associated pain with the idea behind my mark.
I got my first tattoo at 40 yo. The artist refused to do it til I went for a walk and really think it over. He wanted me to make sure this wasn't a whim. He also refused to do names of a living partner/significant other. The only exception I witnessed was a client that was dying wanted his wife's name over his heart.
I had my brother's name tattooed in honor of his passing.
I only have 3 tattoos......they are personal and in places that are for my eyes only and all positive ones.

I believe that if you get the tattoo removed or burned or whatever you can still clear the energy of the symbol, just like you can clear other deep energies and implants.

Thanks so much for this wonderful segment. You brought up very interesting points and concepts that never ever had crossed my mind in regards to tattoos. I do have a tattoo about the size of a half dollar of a Phoenix below the stomach on my right side close to my ovaries that I got in 2010 after a bad breakup with someone I thought I was going to marry. The whole “rising from the ashes” idea really seemed like a good symbol, but after listening to this I’m really worried about what portals I might have opened up and also what energies I might have been charged in exchange. Another question is regarding an STD that another partner gave me in my last relationship. I shared a lot with this partner, it was a very intense connection in all aspects, and moving on has been extremely difficult. I’m wondering if this was some kind of energy exchange or portal or bond between us. It’s like I feel so tied to this person, especially because the disease is only treatable, and I’m afraid to connect with someone else fearing the transmission. It’s a lot, maybe I’m wondering if this in any way could be connected to the Phoenix tattoo. Thanks so much dear for your video. @thisismariya I would LOVE to hear more about art being portals. I am a 30 yr old green-eyed 33 and my gifts are in visual arts. I discovered a technique (when I was in high school) to see and visualize what I create that I later discovered was also discovered by Leonardo da Vinci. It seems like scrying. He wrote about it being a powerful tool for artists. I have always felt like I trance when I see through these portals. I also am hit with details as I paint that I just know belong without assessing them, I create them how they appeared to me in my third eye. I often feel very strange or depleted when I come out of working on a piece of art.. Also, I bring animal spirits into my work and home, do these also have an energetic exchange to them? I just put up a tapestry of a bear, I feel closer to the mountains now. Thank you 333333

I have one tattoo that I got at the age of 35. It’s on my wrist and I got it with my friend who also has gotten a tattoo with me. She had gotten a moon symbol and I the sun. We always said the she’s the moon and I’m the sun in the friendship. Even if we stop being friends I’ll still like my tattoo cause i love the sun symbols and feel connected to it.

The designs would be intention based with the magick. Looking at things as good or bad as symbols doesn’t really work in shamanic work; ie a wolf can be perceived as bad or aggressive but in fact it could mean loyalty and cunningness. I think the magick is always in the intention.
But you definitely DO need to honour whatever you get tattooed! Can confirm first hand seeing with clients that it doesn’t go well, things start to happen if ya get what I mean. Just a slap in the face to the animal or symbol, you need to continue to honour it. ❤🙌

I was 37 when I got my first tattoo and I’ve got 4 tattoos now. They're from the same artist, a lady I used to work with (not at a tattoo shop) who quit that job to start her tattoo apprenticeship. One reason why I had waited so long for a tattoo was that I wanted to go to an artist who has good energy. She's quite scientific minded (not into "woo" the way I am), but she's a good person. Also, I wanted to go to someone I knew well enough to trust with a process like this (we’d worked together for about a year). There are people I’ve known who got tattoos from artists that didn’t listen to what they wanted and I didn’t want that energy on my body. I also wanted to get a tattoo because I thought it was amazing she was pursuing this goal of hers to be a tattoo artist. So when I’ve gotten a tattoo from her it’s not only about the tattoo itself, but I’m also reiterating this energy she has of making a goal and going for it.

I agree with you on a lot of this. I picked up on these things intuitively as well. I was looking for the perfect artist then gave up my spiritual perfectionism and just did my tattooes anyways. Circumstances were never good enough for me, so? I am not an immortal elf so it doesn't seem that huge of a decision to get tattooed this incarnation. No regrets, yet i don't recommend tattooes to people. WE are changing, our energy is changing. And people will ask about your tattoes which is extremely annoying because they are personal.
Kryon said the days for needing to do alot of cleansing energy is over. That was the old energy. Not to say cleansing rituals aren't good but things are different energetically now. I personally think that when you are in a good frame of mind and happy about what you are doing and hold respect and thanks for the person involved and all their life experience has garnered them positive and negative, then Tattoos are very powerful.
If we lived in a world where we needed everything to be perfect before we get involved we wouldn't live very much life at all.
It's nice to be intentional but don't put yourself in a glass cage of spiritual perfectionism ❤

All that Mariya is saying is that all may not seem to be what it is and that we may not be in a position to ascertain what may or may not be good for us, especially in the practice of tattooing. She has alerted us to consequences that are possible and may run counter to our intentions - simply because tattooing opens spiritual portals in an age which is very ignorant of spiritual matters. All that she is saying is that we need to be fully informed and avoid something which is much more than we know about. He intentions are pure and come from a place of tremendous love.

I just broke up w a man who was covered. He had a lot of dark attachments, & negativity. He could never get out of his head I’m not solely blaming his tatts but it doe explain a lot

Replacing emotional pain with physical pain using tattoos was just a band aid solution but only made it worse. My opinion that ppl who are covered with tatts are the most traumatized than most
My last ex didn't have any tats and he had so many negative attachments, addictions, habits, and patterns along with being abusive in all ways. I have tattoos with skulls, roses, feathers, etc and have been on my spiritual awakening since about the same time I got my skull w/roses and it went from there. I had some small ones from 18-early 20s but the big ones and the majority are the ones I got right before or during the first few years of my spiritual awakening.

Hi Mariya, I am planning on getting a tattoo today. Actually I am torn between too, one is G>^v something like it “ God is greater than the highs and lows” and between “Faith over fear”. However I have decided I don’t want fear on my hand and I like the first one because it’s more criptic and it’s my first visible one since it’s going to be on my hand. Also the position I am unsure, should it be wrist or on the exterior of the hand…

Hmm.. I think I have unknowingly anchored myself to my now ex husband with matching tattoos when we first met. We literally got a small anchor on our wrists, with the intention of “this relationship being the one”, as in this is where we drop our anchors. As I watched this video, I realized mine is on my right hand and his on his left, meaning I was the giver and he the taker of energy.. which is why after 10 yrs it didn’t work out. The relationship literally drained me. We have been separated for the past few years but I feel like I have direct access to him in my dreams. I know what’s going on with him and I don’t wanna know. I’m always trying to throw him out of my home in my dreams, file a restraining order.. he always feels like an intruder. These are all just different ways my psyche is trying to keep him out. He also additionally added a tattoo of my name across his same wrist, soo double the trouble. I thought about lasering mine off, and will probably do so in the future, but for now, I just may try the seal of Solomon.
As an energy practicioner, while I mostly agree with what Mariya says, in that the portal is permanent... the part that is important is that the portal can be modified. Get yourself a complementary tattoo on your left hand to "close the loop" ie. when referring to "being the one" you make that reference to yourself, and yourself only. A skilled energy practitioner can do this.

@@love1111 Ok so this is a bit more of a complicated subject than just "tattoos are permanent energy portals that you can't get rid of". The tattoo symbol, how it was gotten, the person who got it, your spiritual level of practice etc etc all factor into this.
To answer your question, since in this case, it was you and your ex-husband who both got the tattoo, you bound yourselves to each other energetically, it acts like a contract, and with spiritual contracts formed in agreement by 2 people, only way to truly void the contract is by having both parties agree. Contracts we form physically are powerful energetically as well. So yes you can choose to laser it off, but your ex-husband has to do the same, you both have to mutually agree to "void the contract". Then you can energetically cleanse the energy etc.

When I was in late 20's, I got my two. I don't think the artist was the greatest choice, because he was found to be a pedophile and imprisoned..although at the time I met him I felt a connection with him, he was kind to me and went out of his way to help me with the perfect choice for me rather than do it the day I showed up. It was important for me to wait before finding the right ones, I finally found a sacred Celtic heart on the internet after scouring for hours and hours and hundreds of images, it's a rare one but felt to me like it symbolizing loyalty of the highest degree, and years later I found I was on a twin-flame journey so this represented exactly this for me, the loyalty to find my true love. The other one I designed from multiple ones I found, a Celtic cross with a red rose entwined around it and the word, "Faith" in Celtic-styled font, to symbolize no matter what I go through I always hold onto faith it happened for a greater purpose, and I trusted I would always have a way to get through. Could you please help me analyse how these work as portals for me?
