Zack you said it right. "Good luck is where preparation meets opportunity, and you EXECUTE". And Ben did the job and got a great buck. The THP is the best. And always having fun. Thanks for the great videos.
To go congratulate a fellow hunter over continuing to hunt. That is what sets you guys apart. Zach is always genuinely excited when others get the job done. This is what it's all about!
Zack, congratulations! You are the first person to ever cause me to comment on a video. Just wanted to try and help you with the arrow rest problem. You can fix a squeaky arrow rest by painting it with clear fingernail polish. Use a couple coats.... Works for 20+ shots....Reapply as needed.
ZACH...heat shrink tubing on rest prongs. a bit of moleskin (black) placed front to back on bottom of rest where arrow sits and finished off with a larger piece of heat shrink tubing (or black tape) holding lower piece of moleskin in place.
Great hunt! Congrats! Hope everyone has been enjoying their hunting seasons! Side note: after watching many THP videos over the years now, I can't tell you how fast I zone out when Zach starts on his whispering monologues.
My bow squeaks sometimes. What I do it when I’m setting it I keep drawing it back and letting it down until it stops making the noise. Squeaking is usually due to rust must likely in your cams. Wd40 and drawing it will help with the rust and smoother drawing
Try removing cable slide and thoroughly cleaning cable rod along with the hole that receives the cable rod on the slide with rubbing alcohol. You may also need to replace cable slide. DO NOT USE WAX OR OIL ON THESE COMPONENTS! I shoot a Bear Marshal and had the same issue a few years back. I found that the use of lubricants or wax actually caused the squeak when drawing. Hope this helps.
Ohio is the land of monster bucks! I shot a nice one in Richland county on November 3 . Off the ground thanks to Zach’s tips and tricks video I watched the week before lol
Congrats!! Nice buck. (Zach) I had the same problem with a QAD rest, I replaced the felt where the arrow slides on and it fixed the issue immediately...but it sounds like you have tried that already. Maybe something in the rest is loose and vibrating when you pull back, or maybe your knock is too loose when locked in the string and it's enough to vibrate from tension on the rest...idk lol
That sound is caused from the shaft laying beneath the resting arms of the rest . Twist the tips closer together so it sets correctly then adjust sights to accommodate
Sometimes when the conditions are wet and Dewey like that, I don’t think there’s anything you can do other than use your finger and hold the arrow up off the rest as you draw. But the stealth strips work the best for me.
Clean arrows are quieter. If your arrow exterior is just grabby, then maybe some ultrafine steel wool lightly on the outside to change the texture. When I shot a QAD, I had no issues getting it quiet. An easy one is put white medical tape on the prongs and then warm bow wax between your fingers and smear that all over the tape wherever the arrow can touch.
I think the high foc weight sitting on the rest smashes the mole skin after some time and makes that noise I started using the outer part of 550 cord cutting a slit and fitting it over the rest works great for me
Missed a nice buck opening day rifle in Missouri. Hunted 4 days in a row and other than that buck it’s been very low activity compared to the last several years. Haven’t even seen a doe yet. Just 1 small buck.
So most bows even the highest dollar bows theirs always something wrong with the string. Nothing you put on it will ever fix it. Get it re stringed with high dollar string and I promise you’ll love it.
I had a issue luke that several years back. Culprit was Dirty carbon. Wipe down the arrows with alcohol/acetone like when you fletch. Carbon dust is like rosin to a violin. Do that and clean moleskin, I'd bet it goes away. Or your rest timing is off and it's coming vertical to soon
Zach, check that your nock isn’t getting pinched. I know this almost always lifts the tip of the arrow, but it can push it into the launcher a little more and be causing that squeak. 🤷♂️
Hey Zach glue a piece of chamois skin (for windows cleaning) on the arrow rest ... last long and silent (what i do for years now) if it work's in USA I will not ask you royalties ;;; 😂😂 and thank's to the hunting public's for the good hunting vibes !!
If the rest has felt on it, take a tooth brush and brush the felt, it’s dirt and dust that’s trapped inside the felt that’s making noise on the arrow..
Fogtails and cat milk! I'm going to keep looking for that when I'm trying to judge the wind while im in the weed! I usually just blow the smoke out of my mouth and see which way it's blowing!
That bow sounds like a damn velociraptor when you try to draw it back 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
We all need a friend like Zach, someone who gets so pumped up and excited when their friend harvests a buck. Awesome
Zack is my favorite guy on here. Really enjoy his stalking and ground hunting techniques.
That face when Zach said spit on that thang lol. Dudes one of a kind
Zachary's bow is just playing him a sad sad song😢😂
Zack you said it right. "Good luck is where preparation meets opportunity, and you EXECUTE". And Ben did the job and got a great buck. The THP is the best. And always having fun. Thanks for the great videos.
Zac’s had like 4 different bows since I’ve been watching THP…. Everyone of em has a squeaky draw. 😂😂😂
Well it’s a bear
@@justinfrye329definitely the bow not the arrow rest.🤦
To go congratulate a fellow hunter over continuing to hunt. That is what sets you guys apart. Zach is always genuinely excited when others get the job done. This is what it's all about!
its clear how much fun you have hunting with the Robinson brothers. always makes for a good video.

You know when Zac’s hunting it’s gonna be content 😂😂

The last thing I had on my bingo card was Zach and hauk tuah.....😂
I will take nock serving string and wrap around the arrow holder. Long lasting and easy to fix in the field and easy to repeat if needed.
Fix your rest Zack, sounds like you are drawing a violin instead of a bow.
I don’t know. If Zach is a violin type guy, then, violin it is….probably why Zach has never taken a deer..or elk..or hit a target..🎻🦌☠️
@Hammerback0 Zach don't want you bro.
😂
Get a new one
You need something like a smooth sponge something that can stand the moisture. Wait while I get rich
Way to go Ben, nice buck especially still hunting. You guys rock with great content. Keep after it Zach, I love to watch y'all chasing em.
Great video and buck !!! Thanks for taking me along on your hunt. Congrats !!!
I just have to say Zach is an amazing Hunter he just has the knack!
It's Ben for the win! Congratulations on a good buck.
From a proud Marine thank you! Been a fan of you guys since Midwest! 💪🏾🦅🌍⚓️🇺🇲👍🏾 🦌

“Crushed Dirt and Spit!” 🤣 that’s what you call throwing the whole kitchen sink at a problem!
zach...maybe try cloth bandaid. You can trim the sticky parts off pretty easy and they will wrap around the ears of the rest.
Congrats to Ben on a very nice buck. Always good footage with Zach around. Darn noisy draw. Lol
Oh yeah where multiple ridges connect called a super hub...Great place to be! Congrats on a great Buck!
Teflon coated aka ptfe film tape. Super low coefficient of friction. Clean the rest well with rubbing alcohol before applying the tape.
Love how these guys celebrate one another!
THP!! Can’t wait for Ohio gun season this year.
Ohio is the land of monster bucks! I shot a nice one in Richland county on November 3 . Off the ground thanks to Zach’s tips and tricks video I watched the week before lol
Nice buck Ben! Zach, call up the Hawk Tuah girl...😂😅 Love what ya'll are doing ❤️
Watching Zach is always a comedy show😂 always makes me laugh. Keep it up boys!🎉🎉
Congrats!! Nice buck. (Zach) I had the same problem with a QAD rest, I replaced the felt where the arrow slides on and it fixed the issue immediately...but it sounds like you have tried that already. Zach, you need to give that thang the ole hawk tuah!
😂 and spit on that thang!
Congratulations on a Beautiful Buck, Ben!
That sound is caused from the shaft laying beneath the resting arms of the rest . Twist the tips closer together so it sets correctly then adjust sights to accommodate
Congrats.. Beautiful Buck.. 👍💯🦌
Zach, I wax my arrows to keep a quiet draw. It rubs off after a couple shots, but if I put it on before I go hunt, all good and quiet!
It's the bare carbon shafts. Victory arrows like RIP TKO have a slick coating on the arrow. I haven't had any noise drawing my bow.
Sometimes when the conditions are wet and Dewey like that, I don’t think there’s anything you can do other than use your finger and hold the arrow up off the rest as you draw. But the stealth strips work the best for me.
Zach, spray your arrows with nonstick cooking spray. Pretty much odorless makes your arrows slide across your rest quietly. Help penatraion too.
Try spray on silicone works to help lube up arrows for composite targets that are hard to pull from
Nice buck Ben! The story is forever.
I had the same problem while hunting a few years ago with the squeak. I ran some emery cloth on my arrows. Problem solved for me.
Try strips of velcro, try both sides hook and the loop side to see which one you like better, Dollar stores usually carry 4x1 inch strips! Trim to fit
Yo Zach, use mink oil paste, it for leather waterproofing, I put it on the arrow shafts once a year, works great

Lift the arrow slightly with the index finger on your bow hand as you draw. Then when you get a chance, put some fresh felt on your rest.
Missed a nice buck opening day rifle in Missouri. Hunted 4 days in a row and other than that buck it’s been very low activity compared to the last several years. Haven’t even seen a doe yet. Just 1 small buck.
I had a noise like that last year. My bow shop needed to re-apply some sort of lithium gel where the limbs attach to the riser.
Congratulations great buck man!
So most bows even the highest dollar bows theirs always something wrong with the string. Nothing you put on it will ever fix it. Get it re stringed with high dollar string and I promise you’ll love it.
Zach this veteran thanks you for the shout out!! I was hoping you got a good one but ya gotta quit chasing those spikes!!
i bet that was quite the moment Ben; pretty work!

Zack you were asking for advice on the sound try the total peep slip over rest cover love mine it’s dead quiet
Spit on that thang!! HAUK TUA.😂
Great job guys congratulations to Ben 😊
congrats! love ya'lls videos, tryin to get my own buck right now lol
I been looking for one of them bean and crinkles for along time.
Nice buck Ben ! Yeah Zack gotta spit on that thang!
Your bow is saying, oooooh here comes a deer. Sounds like your arrows are rubbing a bit
Any sort of wax to help the squeak. You can do the rest and the arrows
If you do t want to change ypur rest ive had good luck applying old windicator powder onto the rest. Seems to quiet it down enough.
I’ve hunted with bow only for the whole season for 20 yrs now. If u can, why not. Congrats!!
I don’t care what yall say these guys are skilled at what they do
May sound stupid but a quick fix for the arrow dragging on the rest is a good tough strip band aid. Looks goofy but worked for mine lol
Hey Zach glue a piece of chamois skin (for windows cleaning) on the arrow rest ... last long and silent (what i do for years now)
if it work's in USA I will not ask you royalties ;;; 😂😂 and thank's to the hunting public's for the good hunting vibes !!
Try aero kroil on that rest. That’s what I use on mine. Smell is the only thing with it. Have to cover the scent of it
Spot On, Versa Oil
Heat shrink is what we use on our qad’s works great
When you drew back I'm surprised a turkey didn't gobble.lmao
If the rest has felt on it, take a tooth brush and brush the felt, it’s dirt and dust that’s trapped inside the felt that’s making noise on the arrow..
Get some fabric like 3M felt. And put that on it. won’t wear to fast and stays accurate. Should be able find one side sticky one side felt.
Buck at 5-yards - sign me up! Congratulations.
Hawk tuah girl where are you? Zach needs you!
Soundtrack was spot on in this video, had me laughing like a school girl!
Congratulations on your big buck Ben.👍💪💪💪
Zack - In a pinch with a squeaky arrow rest, juts have to hit it with a little hawk tuah. And that’s no joke.
Fogtails and cat milk! I'm going to keep looking for that when I'm trying to judge the wind while im in the weed! I usually just blow the smoke out of my mouth and see which way it's blowing!
Spit on that thing! LOL i love these guys. they just have a good time hunting!
4:59 that is going to be a monster assuming he makes it a few more years.
Try scorpion venom it’s an arrow application to slick up ur arrow so no squeak they sell it at bass pro
Silicone spray works good and it deep penetration no smell deflects dust
That's one reason why I slick my arrows. A little Vaseline WORKS WONDERS. SLICK THE WHOLE ARROW FROM TIP TO FLETCH. THANK ME LATER!
Sounds like a Diddy party 🎉
Vaseline huh??
Im a Astroglide kinda guy
Congrats Ben, a damn fine buck!!
Blue painters tape will stop that squeaking
my local bow shop lancaster archery, they use like a felt they glue on the rest it's very thin you need to try and get ya some.
Can’t beat a good ole whisker biscuit
Nice buck Ben! Have you tried putting a wax or grease of some sort on the rod that the string guide slides back and forth on?
That turkey call sounded great
9:42 GYYAATTT
I put felt on my rest. No more squeaky
I had a bow sounded like that before years ago had to put new shrink tube on it
Good stuff, Congratulations Ben.
Zach, have you tried Teflon ? i had a rest that always squeaked when you would draw, i put Teflon tubes on the arrow rest- end of the squeak,
Try that soft stick on stuff on ur rest where arrow sets. It’s made for arrow rests.
