We really enjoy your videos! We live in western Texas where lakes are few and far between & rivers are low or non existent during the summer. We have been to Texoma once & promised to go back when much more time could be spent exploring. We travel on motorcycles now & haul a Time Out camper. We are going to sell our hard kayaks & look into the Sea Eagles so that we can haul those on the roof of the camper. Im not happy just sitting beside the water I have to get in it and explore. Come early fall, Texoma here we come!
We love your versatility of all the activities & sporting means to get out and be active. Thanks!!!

Hey, thanks so much for watching and commenting! Sounds like you have a fun lifestyle! You can't go wrong with the Sea Eagle brand and their kayaks. Here's all the ones I own and use! Let me know specifically if you have any questions with any of the models based of how you want to use them etc.....

Great presentation of your ways and means of kayak scouting, Cliff.
😊Nice lake cruiser for covering allot of territory in a shorter period of time.
Did you add the Garmin depth finder and did the BW come that way?

@@KayakCliff Thanks... yes, very necessary in order not to get disoriented when you're way back into those inlets.

Can I ask how you mounted the cooler? I see you have the stockish mount system but the cooler is not.

Hi 👋 there! I just slide the Yeti 48 into the stock starboard plastic mounts built into the Whaler Sport 130SS. It fits perfectly!

Thank you for sharing this video. What a fun adventure.
I wanted to know what is the total weight of the boat for towing? Thank you 🐬🐟🐟🐠

Hi Teresa - the Boston Whaler 13 foot super sport weighs about 1100 pounds - boat motor and trailer. They are so nice, because you can pull them with just about any vehicle and not get a big impact on your gas mileage. In my truck, I only lose about a mile per gallon.

What a fun adventure! If you don’t mind me asking, what tow set up were you using, and where on the whaler did you connect it? My 4 and 6 year old are dying to know

I hook a ski rope harness to both exterior rings on the stern of the boat. Midway down the rope, to keep it from sinking in the water with tubers, I have one of those inflatable balls that skates along the water surface and keeps the rope from dropping in the water. Works great!

Just wanted to say that I really appreciate the thoughtfulness and quality of your videos. Living in NTX, I love previewing areas to get out and explore. The area history you provide is also really interesting. You are truly a hidden gem and the effort you put into every video really shows. WFAA needs to do a segment on all the good work you do promoting TX parks, wild areas and your Pick & Paddle efforts. I look forward to your next video!

Thank you so much for your kind comments, Lynda! You really made my day! Wow! That would be an awesome opportunity to have one of the networks do a segment on me. Have a great weekend and safe adventuring out there!

Cliff, nice seeing you again. I am still really loving the 150ss and the bucket seats that I purchased from you. My son is loving the water and the boat as well. We need to start our channel soon.

Hey Jason, Sorry for the delay, I’m just getting back into the swing with the channel after taking off much of December! Glad the 150SS is doing
great! There’s no better toy for a young boy, I got my first Whaler 130, when I was 13 years old, a lot of memories! Let me know when you start
your channel and I’ll be of of your first subscribers!

I bought a gheenoe a few years ago thinking the same thing. Turns out the kayaks barely come out. And i spend 4 months on the Weeki Wachee. We jumped to a bigger boat last year, and are now looking at much bigger boats to go offshore. I feel bad about the lack of kayaking

Hey, thank you so much for watching and commenting! My goal is just to maintain balance between kayaking, boating, and mountain biking. All of these, I get so much fulfillment out of. First world problems, I guess…

@yzfr1too Great boats, you’ll love it. I’m into my 4th BW Sport now with my 2022 SS130. My first was when I was a teenager back in the late 70’s
For me, they are truly the best boats!
