This performance was the one that hooked me. AURORA masterfully combines delicate vocals, minimal instrumentation, and vivid lyrical imagery to create an ethereal and emotionally charged atmosphere, using dynamic contrasts and layered harmonies to evoke both intimacy and vastness. A masterpiece.

Such a nice and interesting reaction🥰this is one of Auroras best live performances. Her most recently live performance "Dreams" for Amazon Music, is also brilliant. (also with a guitar)

    Very nice reaction 🎁
This is a very beautiful song but with very sad lyrics.
It was inspired by domestic violence, she gets killed and in the end she comes back to haunt him🥺❤️
Her band member/backup vocalist Silja (seel-ya) Sol (sool) is amazing as well😍
Aurora has always been blessed with amazing band members❤️
If you want to hear Aurora “push” her voice, I recommend:
“A soul with no King” live at Vevo
“Some type of skin” live at Vevo
These were filmed on the same day, they only changed the lighting👍😍
    Merry Christmas🎄🥰

Both of these recommendations are stripped down versions with Aurora on keyboard and Fredrik on a Mandola or Mandolin👍

One reactor has crowned AURORA the “queen of glissando.” A masterclass indeed. As you are concerned about our planet and its future, you MUST react to her collab with Jacob Collier on ‘A rock Somewhere X The Seed (GreenPeace) it is miraculous! Subbing now. Happy holidays!

Yes, Aurora's music is unique and masterful, she is absolutely involved in musical landscape of her songs along with the lyrics, I find her multiple talents to be levels above most artist. Thanks for a nice reaction and Merry Christmas and Happy New Year

The guitar she's playing is a vintage Martin parlor. Worth big money.

I think "Aurora x Pomme - Live On Rhythm By Modzik" is a natural follow-up to this one. 🙂

Happy Holidays. Some fun trivia: Norwegian traditional "lokk/kulning" (also reaching south-eastern Sweden as both borders and traditions have been "flexible", Irish keening/sean-nós and jodelling from the European Alps share vocal techniques and sensibilities - but they were developed independently. What is a common feature is a shared medieval sense of harmonics obviously spread through psalms and what many think of as "Gregorian Chanting" these days with things like diatonic scales, gamut, dorean/lydian modes (etc.).
Interestingly, these inflictions survived in places that "central powers" had little influence on. The Celtic culture is now found on the very western rims of the European continent/islands and nobody bothered with those living in the mountain valleys of central Norway. (The Danish still call us Norwegians "mountain apes" more or less affectionately - they are not totally wrong😁)

Aurora is so freaking talented, and she writes, and she is so good with words, and her melodies and harmonies are beautiful .. and precise, cause she makes good music
Lady playing guitar and singing with her is Silja Sol, not with Aurora now but they shared the road for years, beautiful lady and great artist in her own right.
Aurora has a new band, well, you don-t se Silja, or Frederick or Magnus, and these guys, also amazing artists are no more in the outfit...but her new crew, man, this incredible lady only teams up with the best, check her present band......and they're doing bigger gigs now, bigger stages...bigger crowds......and her production team is also bigger now check these two versions of two different Aurora songs both with Amazon
    Dreams ruclips.net/video/ang0XnqTFps/видео.html
When The Dark Dresses Lightly (man, what a title) ruclips.net/video/kJce99rQSUA/видео.html
Ok and a good recording of a late concert the full 2024 gig live at the RAH UK
    ruclips.net/video/0TEzB_W2PdM/видео.html
Give it a try......trust me......The Viking Fairy Queen is the Best of the best!

@@Quack277 Couldn't agree more. I love when a reactor is genuinely engaged with what they're listening to and makes intelligent and insightful comments. Objecting to that seems like a really strange take from someone opting to call themselves 'thehonestcritic'.
