- In todays video we get the platinum trophy for Far Cry 5. I have covered and platinum'd many Ubisoft games so I thought it was about time I add a Far Cry game to that list.

The brainwashing sequence was so good the first time I played. The final time I was like “alright this again. Right. Let me just speedrun this” and I just ran around that last corner and shot Eli without a second thought. Genuinely shook me. That kind of stuff is why I love the far cry games.
Ubisoft did such a good job with the brainwashing. Like pratt says in the game 'it becomes second nature, routine' which is exactly what Jacob is training you for. You as the player get so used to this course that you don't even realise its eli at the end!

I noticed in the final sequence the bodies remained, then shot Eli and went “Oh crap.” Didn’t even realize what the bodies meant until I shot Eli.
the ending of this game was really unexpected and made you question everything you had done. still remember it to this day
Game has such a lot of good moments. I love how during the Faith fight she starts off very confident but overtime starts to falter and eventually gets desperate saying she didn’t have a choice, even revealing some abuse from her siblings towards the end. Like it adds a layer of detail to her character
This is the only Farcry game I haven't platinumed and it's because of the multiplayer. I tried it and would literally be killed by a camper the nanosecond I appeared on the map. That killed it for me. I'll get back to it one day. I have all plats/100% for everything from Farcry 3 forward. I just platted FC6 last week.
I think the reason you didn't get the rock distraction trophy is because you have to wait for them to move to that spot. I know it had me confused for a while
this is my personal favourite farcry game i loved going for the plat aswell try out farcry 6 and new dawn, would love to see platinum trophy videos on those two. Keep up the gd work!

Thank you mate! That’s the only thing, you’ll be smack bang in the middle of a side mission or treasure hunt and you’ll randomly get drugged and forced to do a story mission

Did this not too long back, as well as the DLC.
The FC series gameplay improved in New Dawn, but the story lacked a bit. Haven't played FC6 yet, so not sure if it was improved further or not.

Have you considered doing another series where you revisit platinum’d games and 100% complete the dlc? Some of the games you’ve done has some dlc that can be a pain to get 100%.
It seems like it's really, really easy to drug and capture your character in this game lol
Man I spend like 5 hours just fishing wen the game came out it was at the point I did like 4 missions and that’s it everyone made fun of me😂😂

Hey Watson, thank you for another amazing video and platinum journey. After seeing how many different games you already made here from ubisoft, i would recommend one for you. Its the South Park games, both Stick of truth and fractured but whole are amazing games with a nice story, good sense of Humor and an amazing list of trophies. Both games work perfect and with different combat system in the games you could have a high amount of fun! Keep on with your work, because your Videos are amazing all over ❤

I played a little bit of South Park some time ago and not to sure why I stopped. I absolutely love South Park and definitely need to give them a proper playthrough and if it’s something you’d like to see I feel more inclined to cover it!
I would love to see you platinum both games! I already made Fractured but whole and still need to play stick of truth for plat. And in my point of view i would say start with fractured but whole due to his different kind of humor and for me stick of truth is the better game so keep it up as second, its just my suggestion

Far cry 5 is one of my favourites in the series but ill never platinum it due to the arcade only trophies. These online ones arent as bad as other games ive seen but the fact its still got arcade troohies really puts me off especially as in the future this platinum will be impossible when the servers shut down

Now that I think about it , the Peggie’s didn’t have any air defense equipment…by the time you’ve gotten access to the resistance planes & helicopters you could have been long gone bringing back help

I tried to plat FC5, but the online just wasnt working for me, sucks that games dont separate online trophies from the main game, 100% the whole main game

The only real complaint I had about the game was that everyone just used AR-Cs and 1911s, I got a mod on PC that fixed that, and now the game is a lot better

Games requiring Multiplayer to plat is always a disheartening and distasteful thing personally.. great job managing it but truthfully those are the worse.
I am currently working on obtaining my platinum of the Far cry 5 it is indeed a pretty decent game. Will pop back in the chat if I need some online match support

You should try rage 2 or warhammer bolt gun fun games but I will definitely say bolt gun is a better game than rage but I had fun with both
I'll recommend FarCry 3's platinum because it is very easy

Farcry 5 was amazing, I had some funny bugs show up, like when helping nick and there is snipers on the roof opposite his house, he crashed his plane on them, it blew up and he got out and started punching the guys on the roof!
I also was driving the big truck with guns, saw some cows, though meh ill just plow through them, I hit them my truck did a full 360 flip i landed over the cow and i carried on like noithing happened!

i sadly cannot 100% the achievements on the game, as due to the zombie dlc releasing early on xbox i accidentally completed a lot of the achievements early and cannot redo them

Hello. Anyone here wanna work on the "hitting-it-off" trophy with me?
Fun fact, I actually had the game and beat it a couple of times.
But here is a little bit of story time for you.
The day I got the game. I went to church before I got it, I had it as like a Present.
But before I could play it, my parents insisted me to go to church before I play the game, which I agreed obviously, And then after church, I booted up the game. And the first instance was about a cult. And then I felt really awkward afterwards. My first thought was, Oh **** I just got back from church, like, literally, not even a few minutes ago, should I be playing this?
But I just decided to say **** it and just played it anyway. And to be honest, it was a blast.
And I had so much fun that I not only beat the game once, but four times, "not on the same day."
I even played with a couple of online friends.
The next game, however. Which was far cry new dawn the game that came afterwards. Was way too short I literally. I literally beat the game in like a few hours. Which is not a lot.
This game, however, took multiple hours to beat and had a lot of content. I even at one point, was trying to 100% the game. Unfortunately, I don't really remember if I did or not. That was a few years ago and my memory is not what it used to be.
But I do remember one thing it was a fun game.
And in case you're wondering, no, I still didn't buy the new far cry, which is far cry 6 by the way, and I don't plan to anytime soon, and I used to play console games, but nowadays I just play PC games. There are a lot more fun for me.
FC5 is such a fun game.
This game is a little under rated in my opinion, I personally really enjoy the antagonists and personally feel like the gameplay is some of the best farcry has to offer.

Deceazed to exist is a achievement in xbox(not sure on other platforms) where you have to kill in total 5000 zombies in FC5's DLC.
