I'm in Canada. My May orders were delayed because of s government workers' strike including Canada Post which delivers Temu orders. I do mixed media. I bought decorated papers like yours, and a pad of small pictures to use on artistic trading cards and in my travel folder. In my current orders, I ordered 24😂 rolls of washi tape. PS I like that double-sided tape you bought. Sometimes gluing stuff can be messy. I will consider what you bought for a future order. I also ordered a corner punch like yours.
Hello lovely! I love Canada, I've been twice, what a beautiful country you live in. Shame about the postal delays, postage here was super fast (faster than some orders I've placed from Aussie stores!!) The washi tape is great, good choice! I've used the double sided tape now and it is really good, high tack, super strong, I made a mini album with it which I'll be sharing very soon. Glad you enjoyed my finds and have been diving into the TEMU site. So many things to see there. 🧡 🧡 🧡
All my orders in Ontario, Canada have been arriving in 10 days. Only one delay when they sent my package on a trip from Toronto to several cities in Manitoba and then back to Ontario lol.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts! I didn't realise that the word stickers were Tim's, otherwise I wouldn't have asked for them. I don't actually use a lot of his things so I wasn't super familiar with his ranges. 🧡
I have ordered from aliexpress, wish and temu as well as etsy and Amazon. Temu is great for most craft stuff. Dog toys are hit or miss as it will have on the ad great for aggressive chewers and my 48 pound Boxer will tear through the toy in 30 minutes.
Oh my gosh, thank you!!! I still hadn't figured out what I was doing wrong with it, I'll give this a try! The blade is super sharp so I was hopeful that it was something I was doing wrong.
Sometimes yes, but not always. I've found that poor quality paper can cause this too. I've seen it first hand using a brand new blade on paper that is just not great quality.
Tfs your list. Please note that when we click on the link to see all your picks, Temu tries to confuse you at the end by showing things not in your pick list. Also, if you hit the back button on the browser while perusing your items list, it won't take you back to your list. It's easy to miss that they're showing you THEIR picks, not yours!
Thanks for letting me know. I'm thinking that the ones on the end might be from TEMU, but perhaps they suggest things they think you'll like. I bet they will be different for everyone, where as my pics will obviously be the same for everyone. It's good to know though, so we can keep an eye out for it.
I don't mind buying knock off's as they are much cheaper then then big craft companies the something are better then the dearer ones especially when one is on a very low income
I get what you are saying and I know that's why people buy them. I fully understand that not everyone can afford supplies. As a designer myself though, it's not really fair that someone puts in a lot of work and effort to create a product only to have it replicated, they benefit from the designers time and expertise and the effort that went into creating it. I have accidentally purchased some things and I'll use them because they are here now, but I do go out of my way to avoid copies. I do think its a personal decision and I do understand.
I do!! AND they are back in stock as of this morning so I would get onto this super quick :) (don't forget my coupon code too for 30% off if you're new to TEMU) www.temu.com/goods.html?_bg_fs=1&goods_id=601099515164912&_x_sessn_id=7ky1jqmc8a&refer_page_name=bgt_order_detail&refer_page_id=10045_1683850989645_eu8gp0yhqg&refer_page_sn=10045
This is an older video and I have not actually purchased from them since recording this one... many have raised the issues of security. I didn't have any issues but I am an Aussie, so it could be region related??
I really want to do some more journalling, I love it so much. I have created this playlist of the videos I've made so far, not sure if you have seen these. ruclips.net/p/PLjm4DiVjQXU23npVh36yGKWFHDeIJDzOy
Hey Margie... to get the 30% off you'll need to use one of the links in the video, from there search '1pc Folding Box Shaped Metal Cutting Dies Stencils For DIY Scrapbooking Decorative Embossing DIY Paper Cards' and it should come up for you. It's great, I was working with it some more last night for an upcoming project, the cut lines are super crisp! 👌
Welcome! They are called 'Lantern Series Multi-material Labels With Iron Box' They are almost like little journalling spots. (temu.to/k/usJ5r12eyFSK0c7)
Just a heads up I tried to link and get the discount and they informed me " that you aren't a reputable site" . I totally disagree with that. It's just a heads up, and they wouldn't give the discount.
Hey Wendy... I think that's now because the links were only good for 3 months or so and this video is now over a year old. I really appreciate you letting me know though, I think it might be best to remove the links from the video. 🧡
You are totally right, it does have marks for trimming on an angle which would be super handy! I think in part I was just using it wrong, I'm so used to my other trimmer and having something to push the paper against to line it up top or bottom and this one just doesn't have that, so it's hard to make sure it is super straight. It's still kicking around my craft room, I really need to give it another go because the blade was super sharp.
friends, i beg you: please investigate Temu's business practices. there is a reason why their prices are so low. they are exploiting human beings. please investigate before you support temu
Hi. The reason why the items are so “cheap” is because salary wages in other countries are not like in the US. Instead of being paid weekly, they get paid monthly. A week pay in the US could be a month pay in other countries.
Update. I got my order with the washi tapes. I'm disappointed that each roll doesn't have as much tape as what I get from Michael's. I will definitely have to rethink buying more washi tape from them.
Thanks for the update May.... yeah, they do have less on them than the big box stores but I think the patterns are so much nicer so I still think it's worth it. Here in Australia, our Spotlight only has the basic designs like spots and chevrons... nothing like these ones in terms of their pretty prints. I've also found the cheap ones here to be a bit waxy more tape like than washi like (if that makes sense) so I think the quality of these are better too. Thanks for sharing your thoughts though, I know it helps everyone to make their own choices about shopping at TEMU.
Hey there, I don't think there are. It doesn't say anything on the packaging about that so I'm assuming they are not. In general I don't worry too much about the whole acid free thing for a few reasons. 1. The environment I store my pages in is not acid free, 2. My hands are not acid free (and obviously I'm touching the photos and paper a fair bit) 3. There is at least one layer of paper between the tape/papers and my photo. The one place I do worry more about it is the tape that goes directly behind the photo and paper that touches the photo. I'll need to see if they have some 'acid free' tape specifically, I didn't search for that.
You do know that more than one person can come up with the same idea and it not be a dupe. What about washing machine, someone duped that will you only buy it from the first person that invented it, of course not, what about clothes and shoes, do you have a problem with those. Just wondering ❤
I totally get what you are saying, when I talk about dupes, I'm talking about something that is very clearly an exact copy, usually it relates to someones hand drawn image that's been replicated exactly. From the few TEMU videos I've shared here, it seems that everyone has a bit of a different option on what is 'ok' and what is 'not' so I'm a HUGE advocate of doing what feels right for you. 🌷
Hey Jodie, I don't think it is. It doesn't say that it is so I'm assuming it's not. I have now created with it and it's super tacky and seems really strong. In general I don't worry too much about the whole acid free thing for a few reasons. 1. The environment I store my pages in is not acid free, 2. My hands are not acid free (and obviously I'm touching the photos and paper a fair bit) 3. There is at least one layer of paper between the tape and my photo. @@Phllpsmary Hey Mary, that's no good. I haven't heard of it being for Aussie only but I'll have to check. In the mean time, I'm confirming with you that you entered deal6459 only and that it didn't work? I'll get back to you as soon as I hear from them.
Hi Mary, I've just heard back from my TEMU representative and she said that the code is indeed good for USA and in fact can be used Internationally. She did however mention that it is for new accounts only, so if it's not your first order on an account it won't work. She did also mention that you can have more than one account, so if you have multiple emails, it's totally fine to set up an account on each to get the discount. Sorry for that confusion.
@@CreatedByGwen hi Gwen, when I tried the code it came up with a message saying “Sorry this code cannot be used in the UK” and I’ve never used the site before. I’ll still order anyway but I thought it was worth mentioning in case they’ve given you the wrong info. Thanks.
Most of these things from China are “dupes”. If you are not ok with it, or not ok with all the other ways they reduce costs (think about labour costs, or material costs) then you shouldn’t buy from there.
I'm not so sure about that.... Many of the name brand craft supplies are made in China too. Sure, there are dupes, but there is a bunch of manufacturing in China of original brands, big ones too. Where do you think most of American Crafts supplies come from? Not the US. We can't just pop them all into one bucket and say if it's from China it's a dupe. I do agree that as consumers, we all get the ultimate choice of where to spend our money, and we should match our choice with what we want to support. I appreciate you popping by the channel today.
I'm liking Temu, but I am getting very overwhelmed with just how much there is. And I hate stopping scolling in case something different pops up. But then I also then have trouble finding specific things too
You know what... I feel the same way actually, it's not a website you can just pop onto quickly. I think that's why I've pretty much stuck to craft supplies just to keep my choices down. There is ohhh so much on the site, so so many options.
@@diannelevy9179 Agree! The are often listed but I don't always check. My daughter bought some little plastic bags for cookies (she bakes a lot) and didn't check the measurements properly. When they came they were tiny! lol... lesson learnt, you've got to check!
Hey there... this all comes down to the exchange rate, to get 1GB pound costs me $3 Aussie dollars. I think you'll find their prices are based in US Dollars and then converted to the local currency. That's why for us Aussie's it's very expensive for us to go the UK.
@@tusiapl12 Oh, it's all good... if you're ever heading to Australia your money will go a long way so it is great for you. Not so much for us. Crazy how the different currencies work. Thanks for popping by the channel today.
Like all stores, some things are better than others. I have a new video coming soon that does direct comparisons with similar products to look at quality. I have had several papers shipped and they have been similar is quality to some of the expensive scrapbooking brands. I guess it all just depends on what you choose and luck of the draw. I'm sorry your experience has not been the same as mine. 😔
I'm glad you like this, but it makes me sad seeing influencers promoting Temu. They are cheap for various reasons, including because they do steal other peoples designs. You might not recognise it as brand products but they most likely are. Please support the Scrapbooking industry rather than these cheap knock offs.
Hey lovely... This video is almost a whole year old now. This is not the kind of content I make these days, I'm actually surprised it showed up for you 😫 I 100% agree with you that there are too many knock offs on the site and whilst I tried very hard to report them I had very little success.

Thank you for showing us these. I have seen adds on FB come up at times but I have never really been game to check them out. There looks to be some wonderful products especially for making journals. I was interested in their dies but I to am very wary about buying things that could be copies from other craft companies. ❤️❤️❤️❤️
You're welcome Maree. I feel the same about the copies of products and did my absolute best to avoid those. Since making this video I have ordered some dies, background ones only and they have been excellent!
I just placed my first order using your code. Thank you so much for sharing!
You are so welcome!
So enjoyed this video! Just located it, and have subscribed! New to junk journ ling, and never even knew what it was about, although I have always collected, "nothing books"! Thank you for all the great reviews!
Welcome Diana, I'm so glad you found this useful. I'm pretty new to Junk Journalling too and love the idea of nothing books, I made one this weekend actually that I'll be sharing in a few weeks. They are so fun to make 💗
I have things from Temu and AliExpress. I haven’t used them yet. ❤
I'd love to know how you go with them! 🧡
Good morning. I can't find the Vintage Collection books. Love that they are double sided
Totally addicted to Temu
Hey Margaret Those books are now sold out I'm afraid - here is the link so you can be notified when they are back in stock:

Thankyou very much
You can try rubbing the satiny side of the ribbon over a hot light bulb to "iron" the wrinkles out.
Oh, that's a clever idea! I was worried about ironing it.
The packaging is amazing with the low prices I don't see how they can make any money but it's a great online shopping store they diffently are doing a great job
I agree, some of the packaging is so so pretty! Pretty enough to use for a project itself. 🧡
Amazon does it too. They show the design and samples from a known name brand company. Then the product was 1/3 the size.
Interesting!!!
I have to say, I love the trimmer because it cuts angles, the Cricket doesn't do that.
Those angled lines are so so good, that's for sure! The blade is super sharp too... I really think this could have been more 'user error' 🤣
Try the dies on cardstock versus paper.
Are you saying they aren't that good on card??
Hi Gwen, thank you so much for your video and your great review 😊 it is so helpful for someone like me that is just starting out. I couldn’t find the link for those 2 beautiful “vintage collection” actual books you showed, I tried searching Temu but still couldn’t find them, do you mind letting me know the link if you can please? Thanks from one Aussie to another 🇦🇺😊💜
Hey there! I love it when fellow Aussies find my channel. The link for those books is here for you: www.temu.com/goods.html?_bg_fs=1&goods_id=601099515164912&_x_sessn_id=7ky1jqmc8a&refer_page_name=bgt_order_detail&refer_page_id=10045_1683850989645_eu8gp0yhqg&refer_page_sn=10045 They had been out of stock, so you might want to grab them sooner rather than later now that they are back in. 🌸 Glad my video was helpful, don't forget to use the code so you get the 30% off. 🧡
@@CreatedByGwen thank you so much for letting me know 😊. Yes I was so glad when your video popped up for me and I heard you speaking 🇦🇺🇦🇺 I have subscribed and have notifications so I know when you put other videos up. Thanks again, have a great rest of the weekend 🇦🇺🙏🏻💕💕
@@lesakingsbury1612 Thank you! You too, I hope you get some crafty fun in! 🦘
Which link is for the books that you showed at 24:27 after the lavender die cut?
Hey there, the little books are sold out I'm afraid, but this link will put you on the waiting list for when they are back in stock. www.temu.com/goods.html?_bg_fs=1&goods_id=601099515164912&_x_sessn_id=7ky1jqmc8a&refer_page_name=bgt_order_detail&refer_page_id=10045_1683850989645_eu8gp0yhqg&refer_page_sn=10045
You have great taste! Thank you for sharing.
Thank you... I'm loving creating with these supplies too! So many lovely things to play with.
Thanks for sharing. Beautiful journaling supplies. Love your accent!
Awww thanks Darlene... I find it funny when people mention my accent because of course I don't notice it lolol Thanks for popping by today.
Love the haul thanks for sharing
Thanks so much for watching!
와 정말 예쁜 아이템들이 많네요. 코드 사용해서 구매해봐야겠네요
Thanks for stopping by today 💗
I used to be a consultant for an Australian papercrafting company and I also am a fan of Tim. 😊I don’t believe in copies of dies either.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts! I didn't realise that the word stickers were Tim's, otherwise I wouldn't have asked for them. I don't actually use a lot of his things so I wasn't super familiar with his ranges. 🧡
very helpful review! i love your videos❤️
Thank you! That's super kind of you to say. 🌸
I have ordered from aliexpress, wish and temu as well as etsy and Amazon. Temu is great for most craft stuff. Dog toys are hit or miss as it will have on the ad great for aggressive chewers and my 48 pound Boxer will tear through the toy in 30 minutes.
Thanks for sharing your experience with us! 🧡🧡🧡
Turn the pink knob! It loosens and tightens.
Oh my gosh, thank you!!! I still hadn't figured out what I was doing wrong with it, I'll give this a try! The blade is super sharp so I was hopeful that it was something I was doing wrong.
Most of the time when u have feathering on ur cardstock when u cut it, its due to your blade becoming dull.
Awesome haul
Thank you! 🤗
Do you have a link to tHe vintage collection books?
I have avoided Temu so far because of the security issue they had a while back but admit it is enticing.
This is an older video and I have not actually purchased from them since recording this one... many have raised the issues of security. I didn't have any issues but I am an Aussie, so it could be region related??
Are you going to journal with any of these, and show us as I want to journal myself.
I really want to do some more journalling, I love it so much. I have created this playlist of the videos I've made so far, not sure if you have seen these. ruclips.net/p/PLjm4DiVjQXU23npVh36yGKWFHDeIJDzOy
Do you have the link for the memory dex die?
Hey Margie... to get the 30% off you'll need to use one of the links in the video, from there search '1pc Folding Box Shaped Metal Cutting Dies Stencils For DIY Scrapbooking Decorative Embossing DIY Paper Cards' and it should come up for you. It's great, I was working with it some more last night for an upcoming project, the cut lines are super crisp! 👌
New subscriber! Tfs, which items came in tin?
Welcome! They are called 'Lantern Series Multi-material Labels With Iron Box' They are almost like little journalling spots. (temu.to/k/usJ5r12eyFSK0c7)
Nice haul, but what's the "ding" keep ringing for? Makes me jump!
Thank you... and thanks for the feedback, quite possibly just a little loud in my edit. I appreciate you letting me know.
I just love your video ❤ new subscriber here ❤️🙏🏽😘
Welcome! So glad you found my channel. 🌸
If you have Hair Straighteners use them to flatten your ribbon. Just DON’T have it too HOT!!!💕🏴
Ohhh good tip! I'll give this a try. I was just going to iron them with my regular iron.
The pink paper trimmer looks like you are able to cut on a diagonal ... look at the markings.
@@CreatedByGwen - I added most of your haul to my Wish List, for Christmas. Loved the video! New sub!
@@TinRoofVintage Wow, you're organised, love it!! Welcome to the channel, it's nice to "meet" you 🌸
Scrapbooking needs to be a competitive sport because it's worth having contests over. The possibilities are endless and infinite. I love doing it.

@@CreatedByGwen Same. Let's get the movement happening!
🙌 100%
friends, i beg you: please investigate Temu's business practices. there is a reason why their prices are so low. they are exploiting human beings. please investigate before you support temu
🎀
Have you investigated them? What did you find out? What are they doing to exploit humans? Please share all links TIA
Hi. The reason why the items are so “cheap” is because salary wages in other countries are not like in the US. Instead of being paid weekly, they get paid monthly. A week pay in the US could be a month pay in other countries.
All factors to consider for sure.
And they steal designs from artists who don't get payed for their work being stolen.
Do discount codes expire?
Hey there... yes, they do sorry.
Are these acid-free? That is the concern that I have for using in photo scrapbooks.
HI! NEW SUBSCRIBER 🙂 LOVE YOUR SELECTION!! 💙💙💙
Thanks so much :) and a big Welcome to you! 🎀
Is the adhesive acid free?
Hey Jodie, I don't think it is. It doesn't say that it is so I'm assuming it's not. I have now created with it and it's super tacky and seems really strong. In general I don't worry too much about the whole acid free thing for a few reasons. 1. The environment I store my pages in is not acid free, 2. My hands are not acid free (and obviously I'm touching the photos and paper a fair bit) 3. There is at least one layer of paper between the tape and my photo. Mission accomplished 🤣 Glad I could hook you up!

I tried to use your code but it said it was invalid. I’m in the USA. Could that be why?
The same thing for me, so overwhelmed when I get on the site. They need to be very clear on the dimensions of the items we want to buy.
@@diannelevy9179 Agree! The are often listed but I don't always check. My daughter bought some little plastic bags for cookies (she bakes a lot) and didn't check the measurements properly. When they came they were tiny! lol... lesson learnt, you've got to check!
y pay 12 dolar and the same washi tape cost 4,58 £ in uk so u pay double
Hey there... this all comes down to the exchange rate, to get 1GB pound costs me $3 Aussie dollars. I think you'll find their prices are based in US Dollars and then converted to the local currency. That's why for us Aussie's it's very expensive for us to go the UK.
@@CreatedByGwen i didnt know that sorry
@@tusiapl12 Oh, it's all good... if you're ever heading to Australia your money will go a long way so it is great for you. Not so much for us. Crazy how the different currencies work. Thanks for popping by the channel today.
I'm not worried about what the said about- that you aren't a reputable site
I'm not worried about the craft pacage, but more worried about what they said about you. That your not reputable.
Yeah, it sucks that it is coming up with that. Not sure what I can do about it though :(
so expensive ,where y live?and not everything have godd quality espesily paper ,temu uk are cheap
@@CreatedByGwen thanks. I didn't realise it was that old!
