Meh, I think to appreciate Bone you have to go through Creepin On Ah Come up and E. 1999 Eternal first. Maybe it's just me being from Columbus and growing up in the 80s and 90s so they were huge here, especially those 2 albums but I think you need to listen to them before you can appreciate what came after.
I started with Creepin On Ah Come Up before I got into E 1999 Eternal and my appreciation for them just grew.

Ok, people need to stop comparing the members. One of the major reasons they are such a successful and long-standing group is because they all play their part in the group, they all know their part, and they stay in their own lane. They compliment each other and all five are integral parts of the group: LAYZIE is the "businessman"; without him Bone wouldn't exist and they would have fell off in the early 2,000s. KRAYZIE is the "musician"; he is responsible for most of Bones hooks, melodies, and musical direction. WISH is the most baritone of the voices, which is needed in a group of singers. BIZZY is "the voice"; he reels in new Bone listeners based solely on his ridiculously amazing voice and cadence. FLESH is "The 5th Dawg" or "the Grandaddy" who within the internal struggles of the group, is able to bring everyone back together. My personal fav is KRAYZIE. He is "all-around" one of the greatest musical talents of any genre of music over the past 20-30 years.

Everyone sleeps on Layzie.. he was always my favorite because I always knew what he was saying and he just has a natural voice for hip hop and his delivery and pronunciation is 2nd to none.. he was my 2nd favorite 90's rapper behind 2pac
Layzie is the most underrated and best of the four.. I grew up on bone and he was the only one who you could hear every word he said.. we didn't have lyrics to follow in the 90's so everyone had to guess what the other 3 were saying.. plus he had pizzazz in his delivery and was a 2pac type lyricist.. I love bizzy now that we have lyrics to know what he was saying and he wasn't just saying a bunch of nothing like I thought back then..

I saw them in 2010/2015 as well. Both times without bizzy. 2015 it was actually just layzie,flesh and wish. They’re sick man, even though they’re older energy and the rapping Is still there which is what matters. Wish I could have seen them in the 90s. Uuuufff,.. Can’t even imagine how sick those concerts must’ve been back in the day.
Really just hope they do a tour together where they mean it. After seeing them together in the verzuz they really need to tour the states together one more time.

On Creepin On Ah Come up the best bass line, in my opinion, is "Down Foe My Thang". When this first came out I put it in my Alpine Pull Out CD deck and the subs and highs on that sounds went crazy.
Damn the memories I have from highschool , smoking blunts hanging out playing dominoes and spades with the homies this music bumping . These reactions take me back for sure stuff I haven't thought about in years . I love it

Kray is my favorite…they were neck and neck through the 90’s but after their Resurrection album (which Bizzy killed)…Krayzie was making better music by far than any other member from then to about the late ‘10s, but Bizzy got his shit together, got healthy and has been dropping some of his best music since the 90’s.

Wish is my favorite, and he's literally only present on 2 of 8 of the tracks(Thuggish Ruggish Bone and No Surrender). But one track from around the same era(Circa 1994), Sleepwalkers, does have Wish on the last verse. Not to mention Strictly For My Grind is also from that era, and so is Everyday Thang. Check 'em out when you get the chance.

I feel like Layzie Bone always stood out on this particular track. He's riding the beat like Krayzie and Bizzy did, but he also came in with the signature staccato rapping. If you decide to react to it, Armed and Dangerous is a great Layzie solo track.
