Honestly, as a gg member I would be happy having lots of girlfans because 1. not much drama when you'll date, 2. no old perverts who have been eyeing you since you debuted (which for most idols is when they are underaged), 3. girl fans tend to spend more money on real merch compared to male fans (e.g. when Irene was seen with that "feminism book" male fans started burning her pictures/merch but female fans made fun of them because it wasn't even official merch (RV also have a lot of female fans) + I guess the reason why mgs are mostly much bigger than ggs; they sell a lot of albums/merch). So I think it's actually good having lots of fangirls
