I do not agree that the difference between filthyfrank and logan paul playing with dead animals is solely based on the addpocalypse. Filthyfrank is clearly a fake character that is suposed to be extremely outlandish, and so what happens in frank's videos is suposed to be exagerated to the point of it being ridiculous, because nobody could ever be that extremely idiotic and disconnected from reality, wich adds a layer of comedy to them, and also serves as a kind of social comentary imo. In Logan Paul's case we are simply watching someone who is so unaware of basic decency and respect for anything that he just thinks it's fine to do anything he wants.
That's an insightful explanation of the difference that I hadn't thought of.

You make a valid point, but I could also say everything you just said is mental gymnastics in order to have a contradicting double standard. Who's to say Logan Paul as a public figure isn't a sort of exaggerated caricature of himself, none of us know him personally. And even if what you say is completely true "Filthy Frank" being a fake character doesn't excuse himself from the same moral judgement when playing with dead animals. I personally thought it was a little distasteful and gross, but never called for his channel or video to be de-platformed, and I wouldn't expect the same from Logan Paul when he tazed a couple of dead rats. Do you really think he doesn't have awareness what he's doing is provocative and shocking? That's his whole shtick, so by you being morally offended he got the exact reaction he's trying to evoke. "Oh wait FF practically did the same thing? How can we hold this double standard against content creators we hate while simultaneously giving a pass for those we like?"
Lastly, you don't give FF's viewers very much credit, like we looked to his channel for moral guidance and direction. There's no deeper societal meaning to his content and if you really believe the excuse it was demonstrating a caricature of someone you should never be well then maybe you're as dumb as you assume others to be. That "disclaimer" was just an excuse to push the boundaries of what's morally acceptable, and that's what fascinated me most about his channel. No one needed believable context for FF to wrap dead rat babies in a tortilla and serve it to his friends.

Okay, I used to work in pre-school and we were taught to be very wary of children showing behaviour of hurting animals.
There's a good reason for this. There are studies that shows that children that grows up experimenting with animal cruelty, are much more likely to be convicted of violent crimes as adults. There's a link here. So, when it comes to children you have to be very wary of getting them to understand that other creatures have an experience of life, have feelings and nervous systems, and should be valued. If a child understand this at an early age, he will develop more emphatic abilities in general and be less likely to be violent or abusive when older.
Taking out a live koi fish and playing with it, when you know 90% of your audience is below 15, it's just not a good idea.
The rat thing, isn't really a big deal in comparison, it's was just more graphic so people got more upset with it, but fishes lose breath and are choking out of water, he's basically taking an animal who is choking with a lot of fear and pain and playing with it.
You cannot compare it to Filthy Franks tasteless video involving dead animals, that was making satirical jokes for an adult audience, it's just not comparable.
And comparing it to Tom Green or JackAss, people who are making those comparisons really don't understand the issue of debate at all. You have to understand the difference between a children's television program, that has it's core audience of kids under 15, and entertainment aimed at late teens and adults. You look at the kids that shows up on Logan Paul events and you realise he is really just making children's television. And so the standards have to be the standards we judge other children's television after.

I think it’s important to point out Frank’s audience is young and dumb too. Likely not as impressionable as Logan’s but I doubt its not a majority adult demographic
Raymon Rackley while most fish don't have the ability to actually feel pain, neurologically, fish most certainly do experience fear, it's evolutionary! They literally have to be able to feel this to survive. Maybe you haven't gotten close enough caring for fish to see this, but they truly do have feelings, and personalities.
Even if you disagree, who are you to say this? (Same could be said to me) you're not a fish dude, how can you know?
Even though fish are not thought to have emotional pain, they have been found to show nociception responses, and it is believed reactions to these nonciceptional is fulfilling enough criteria to show they have an experience of physical pain. So they do most likely have physical pain.
What they do not have, is facial expressions like a mammal would. When a dog, cow or seal is in pain than you see their pain in their faces, and hear their screams - so you understand they're in pain.
But that doesn't mean creatures who don't have facial expressions do not feel pain. They have no need to communicate pain, hence they don't.
This whole "they are not smart enough to comprehend it" argument is just bullshit. I've heard that before. They do not comprehend the phenomenon of suffering on an emotional state like we do. But that's a very advanced and technical aspect of pain, you cannot just claim that because they do not have the same advanced and conscious awareness of pain as we do then suddenly they don't feel any pain at all.
In fact we use our conceptual understanding of pain and our emotional pain to be able to detach from the physical pain and control it, if we hadn't then our whole experience would be overwhelmed with pain.
Besides, you completely missed my whole point. The point is that children need to have emphatic experiences towards animals, as to not develop anti-social behaviours.
Children that torture animals - whether or not the animal feels pain, it's kinda irrelevant to my main argument - have been found to be far more likely to be abusive when older.
You cannot show cruelty towards animals as entertainment to a child in development, whether that animal feels pain or not we still empathise with it and it will affect a child's development. And Logan's channel is purely a children's channel if we look at his demographic.

I've killed thousands of rodents by hand. Which of course requires an explanation. I used to live in a place that housed around 250 reptiles and amphibians at any one time (part of conservation and education efforts for local wild populations threatened by human encroachment). Of course to feed things like snakes cost effectively, there has to be a rodent and insect breeding program as well.
Which means when they reach the age needed for what needs to eat them to survive. You have to kill them. It's best to kill the rat or mouse before feeding them to the herps (slang for reptiles and amphibians in general). A human can kill them much more expediently and suddenly than a herp ever will. So it's more humane. It also minimizes potential wounds to the herps (as live animals tend to fight back).
It's a hard thing. Because they're smart. Rats especially are far more socially developed and more intelligent than say a dog. You feed and water them, clean their cages, give them new beddings, and moderate their communities (they do have a rather complex social structure that needs to be understood and managed). But you are also the one that comes and takes some of them away periodically never to be seen again. You can get as attached to some of your long standing breeders as you might any pet. But ultimately they are all going to the same place by your hand. So there also has to be a level of detachment.
... Coming from a guy whose job was once to raise these animals and them take them to their deaths for the benefit of animals higher on the food chain. Tasing a dead rat like that is just sick. That guy should seek help.

I think a major point you didn't mention when comparing Logan tasing dead rats to Filthy Frank's use of dead animals in videos is that Filthy Frank as a character is not meant to be looked up to. Filthy Frank, by design, is the worst parts of the internet converged into one man who does disgusting things for shock value with videos not being monetizable and being flagged/advertised to an older audience. While younger kids obviously watch Filthy Frank videos as well, that character is intentionally a projection of the worst possible traits a human can have amplified by internet culture and is made for shock value and is the opposite of a role model.
Logan Paul builds his brand as someone that is supposed to be looked up to. While ideally nobody should be looking up to him as an idol, he has built is content around a very young fanbase and tries to be a super hip and cool dude that kids are supposed to look up to. From the looks of it they do and end up mimicking everything he does and defend him to a fault. They do what he does and cause the explosions in the trends he starts. They see him as a definition of success and what a successful person looks like.

Logan Paul: builds a very young fanbase off of lowest common denominator vlogs --> through these videos presents himself as a hero and role model that should be followed --> presents tasing dead rats to this young fanbase that is already brainwashed into treating him as their hero
Filthy Frank: builds a brand of comedy meant for more mature audiences, relying on shock humor via a character that is supposed to be hateable --> builds a brand around disgusting content and this disgusting character --> presents content involving dead animals to an audience expecting disturbing shock entertainment

This is a huge part of why what Logan is doing is so much worse than Filthy Frank adding stuff like dead animals to the mix of disgusting / disturbing content that the brand was built on.

It wasn't that his water is untreated its because of the temperature. koi and goldfish go into a sort of hibernation period during the winter where they kind of sit on the bottom and conserve as much energy as possible. Fish breath by extracting dissolved non compounded oxygen through the water which is like us extracting oxygen from all the other gasses in the air with our lungs. Most fish can actually survive a fair amount of time out of water before their gills collapse and they cant extract oxygen from their environment anymore. bringing the fish out would stress it out and weaken its immune system but its not all that bad for the fish. that being said he didn't support the weight of the koi which could lead to internal damage and likely death eventually if whatever is causing it to float doesn't. sometimes i wish there was a license you had to have before you could keep fish so dumbasses like logan couldn't have any.

Joe Rogan follows H3 on Twitter now after the success of the podcast, so I don't think it's that far fetched that he may eventually decide to come on, being the biggest podcast outside his own, I love Alex Jones but his crazy rants are probably a bit more suited to him getting drunk with Joe Rogan on the JRE podcast, Ethan is overly skeptical & it might be over the top for him, he also gets paranoid from weed, Erik I just don't really find interesting unfortunately

He definitely has his arrogant parts, but Joe is generally pretty down to earth, so I don't think he would think he's too good for them

how can people not like Zach? i mean, do you really want to make the podcast so boring that you only want 2 people talking with each other at a time. I like it, it's something that makes this podcast unique

I'd rather 2 people I like, than a third person who is just dreadful. Anytime you preface your presence with "I'm the funny one" you immediately ruin any comedic value you could have provided.
Mostly, it's his voice. He has a bubble-in-the-throat voice and he sounds like he's talking through a tube. But yeah, even without that, I don't find him funny at all.
