Effiage part of EKFB has its own steel fabricator in France, there was enough capacity in the UK but it was always going to be made in house. Cleveland Bridge the largest uk bridge fabricator went bankrupt due to lack of work, the decision to build in France had nothing to do with lack of UK capacity.
I live in wendover you really need to know what sort of damage it's doing to the roads and the 3.5 ton weight limits over canal bridges were dump trucks are taking short cuts through neighboring villages the public have been fooled again 😢
REALLY ARE YOU A NIMBY OR ARE YOU THAT DUM, BECAUSE IF YOU DON'T CARE ABOUT THE UK AND THIS PROJECT, DON'T BE A CITZEN OF MY BIRTH COUNTRY UK, LOOK AT OTHER COUNTRIES, THEY CAN BUILT STUFF AND PEOPLE DON'T COMPLAIN IT'S BECAUSE THEY DON'T HAVE PEOPLE LIKE YOU CRYING ABOUT EVERY SINGLE GOOD INFRASTRUCTURE PROJECT THAT THE UK IS TYRING TO BUILD YOU NIMBYS DISGUST ME!!!!!!!
It is very ugly, HS2 hsave cause hours on funnecessary road closures and delays on the A413 in Wendover making them hated by locals can't wait for them to leave the area after several years sitting in hours of traffic caused by thier selfish traffic lights set up to benefit thier stsaff. This is hideously ugly. YET more days of a majhor road closed with diversions miles long and no exception for emergenycy vehicles - And what do the people of Aylesbury do when the railways is closed - oh go from Amersham - nope can't get there either as the road wil lbe closed. We are trapped by HS2 who do not minimise disruption and hassle.
@@Rail_Focus more could be done they choose the options that suit them best not which are a comprimise or relieve the issues - The A413 closure even block emergency vehicles and HS2 don't give a crap about the implications.
@@Rail_Focus don't listen to the haters I mean maybe stye don't care about the uk succeeding, and this is the reason why the uk my brith country can't build anything because of selfish people like this, it's because the uk has too many NIMBYS I mean get the when they build the highways no one says anything right, but when they build things like this they complain, sure maybe it's expensive no lie, but that because it was the fault of the nimbys and the tory government
and if they think it's a waste of money ask the old people who don't pay taxes to use some of their money to pay for it, because I will be honesty the highways are just as expensive as well. KEPP GOING EVEN AUSTRALIA CAN'T BUILD THIS

I would've thought they looked at all the options.
Perhaps you could go into more detail as to why so many different construction methods are being used on viaducts along the route

When will phase 1be operacional? Whats up with euston
The opening window for Phase 1 between Birmingham and Old Oak Common is 2029-2033. I'm not sure when Euston will open though
This timeline is still in place between 5 and 9 years
It does not need experience to see the HS2 is a colossal waste of money

Not a lot that can be done, it's construction, sometimes it causes disruption.
