I honestly think that's just because the risk/reward balance is weighted so heavily in favour of CAS over AA, you get basically nothing for playing AA and are gonna get hyper focussed by every airborne enemy

revenge SPAA is usually revenge for revenge CAS (Coming from me). Although im just petty in general, if someone in a MBT kills me I spawn in a wiesel 1A4 (Severely underrated btw, got a nuke in it with 0 deaths in a 9.7 game (No drop)), if its something I can side pen or I can get behind and go through the engine block then they are dead asf, if I cant then I just sit behind them scouting permanently. Dont use CAS though, I do have a plane but its mostly for killing heli's when I die to someone 5000 metres out rocket sniping
The thing is... Revenge SPAA is not doable with everything... But the LAV-AD is amazing in that regard, I love this machine, I'd bring it up to 12.7 if just the Stingers weren't only 6km range
The one thing i wanted to get is the LAV-AD because i wanna be friendly in warthunder by messing and have fun making new friends. But it all went down when my mom sold my Xbox before summer started. Till this day i still think about my Xbox.
