Let me give you guys a bit of a background about this song: I for a long time back in 2017 had been contemplating on making lyrics/vocals on top of some instrumental songs that I really like and thought would have the potential of becoming something good. This is one of the songs that was at the back of my mind, and I just worked on it fast right after talking with Jeff Loomis about the idea. He was surely excited and that got me super excited. So right before going on the tour of Wintersun with @archenemyofficial in Jan of 2018, I finished this song, with the lovely Miiro Varjus my bandmate in True Cult Club who tagged along for recording/mixing the vocals.
Conquering Dystopia is a band made by @KeithMerrow and @jeffloomisofficial in 2013 and released self titled instrumental album which features @cannibalcorpse bassist Alex Webster and former The Faceless drummer Alex Rüdinger.
