    can you please explain the addition of 15,000 with 2430? why have we done that?

      Because with gravitation, all distances are measured to the centre of the object. So its distance from the centre is the radius of the planet plus its height above it. It then falls to the radius.

    At 15:18 why do we cancel down the m's but not cancel down the r's?

      The r’s have to be multiplied, as one is on the top and the squared r on the bottom. The m’s are both on the top. You can keep them but they’d end up disappearing anyway.
