Join us in exploring a local park and enjoying a beer in a lively bar. Come to a Romanian orthodox basilica and Parliament House built by Ceausescu in the 1980s - this is the world's heaviest building. It is full of marble pillars, floors and staircases; huge chandeliers; hardwood, velvet and woollen furnishings; and beautiful works of art. Its opulence is staggering and shocking given that many people were living in poverty.

You are staying in Suter Place, for sure. I'm local living in west part of the city and I recognized the building by the frames you put from the window and by the gorgeous chandelier.
I recommend you to visit Drumul Taberei park located in the western part of the city, in a quiet and green area, subway with the same name, Drumul Taberei Park.
It is pleasant and fantastic to see the other areas of the city, not only the central area, which for me as a local is not so attractive, it requires more development and renovation.
