AI in healthcare is #1 but they downplayed the implications - it will eliminate so much waste and redundancy in the system. Everyone will have a personal AI doctor available 100% of the time - always responsive with no waiting time. It will be constantly updated with the latest research and data. Sensors and test-equipment will not only be able to diagnose you when you're ill, you'll be made aware of issues in real-time well before they break out - so illness can be prevented. Also if there is an flu epidemic in your local area, you'll be made aware of it, and outbreaks can be contained. There will be much less travelling to a physical building to visit a doctor, no more waiting for care - there will be physical labs for more advanced testing, but much of that will be automated as well. Now there isn't really much preventing this from happening today - the knowledge, AI, sensors and equipment is already out there... but the implication for the industry is enormous as is the benefit to people.
These innovations will no doubt change the game, but I think they also prove that healthcare in The US should never be under full government control, we need independent private insurance companies that could cope with the cost of these uber expensive advances -DW (04.18.2019)
Alec Johnson hey this is the same system that makes drugs that make my life easier cost insane amounts of money. When in other countries that same fucking drug cost little more than a sandwich
Can someone please read this and see if it’s a good idea ... yk how cars have code scanners? How the check engine light comes on and then someone can hook up a code scanner and see what the problem is... what if someone invented something (idk maybe nanobots to reside in the bloodstream) that monitored how the body was behaving and then doctors could just hook up a device (kinda like a code scanner) , read the information from the nano bots and if not know exactly what’s happening to a person .. then at least have a general idea
Wishing you both a successful journey & hope to see your innovation worldwide someday soon. Congratulations 👏🏾 I myself have just started doing research on affordable health diagnosis device. Am not from any medical background at all but, I believe in 20+ years success story, from now. It's gonna be a very interesting journey, I can feel it and am ready for it's challenges & looking forward to the type of like-minded people am going to meet on my journey to collaborate and work with.
It is very important to realize, medical error is the 3rd leading cause of death in the US. People need to do their own research and really be their own doctor, Google really gives better diagnosis than most doctors. Also people need to focus on preventing themselves getting sick 80 percent of cardio vascular disease is preventable as is 2/3 of cancers. Focus on prevention and if you do get sick, do your own research and be prepared to see a few doctors before you find a good one
What about the kidney printing..they printed an adult kidney and put it in a boy and it worked great..I’d like to know why that was not on the topic..I thank That’s an important medical advancement. They can do hearts ears.ect.. ect.
hahaha, formaldehyde smell in the classroom gone ( 6.). Maybe research formaldehyde air brees smell to mimic it. :D. I am very happy to hear that cancer has more and more development toward curing it. I sure hope cancer will soon be the past. As I think the way we are going now is that many medical problems soon be history. But detecting and early warning need to be faster in my opinion. I do not understand why there is still no decent body scan device developed. Why not use sound/echo, light and heat/cold detector for a sample to map body instead of using Xray.
And wat about human augmented enhancement treatment, using robotics, AI and nano to enhance the body? You can not tell me this is not something near this future as well? Military already using some .

Thank you!
Thank you.
This is very very helpful! Thank you so very much Ryan!
Thanks bro
Thank you for hosting and publishing this online!!!
This is a great and motivational video for all the medical students.
Awesome content, thanks for uploading!

Hello Pratik, i am creating a video about Ai in health care! Are you doing anything in this field?

How do other to developed Nations handle the cost of these expensive treatments
Denarius Wright or you know, spend less than 595 billion dollars on defence, granted it’s important, but still.
Denarius Wright fuck off healthcare should not be in private control
@@jaredleon5520 You love innovation but not the vehicle that helps move it forward?

Fantastic innovations, would it be possible to have the moderator ask a few more questions and drum up a bit more excitement!!! :)
great video! Please keep us up to date
the 6th is just super. i love that one in advance
Very informative and effective presentation. Thanks!
