    We start out with a completely disassembled microwave, and this begins the first part of our training series on microwaves. Watch as we build and discuss the various components and how to test them. The quality of our live recordings are not to our standards, but the live classes will go with these videos, so if you missed last Saturdays class or if you attended. I still recommend this series of videos.
    NOTE High voltage components as well as any voltage is serious and these components should and must be tested with the machine unplugged and testing for resistance.

    9:10 If you're in Australia mate your compass magnet will still point north. Otherwise, Santa would never make it back. Get used to it he goes to Australia first. Your lucky he can still drive after 3 million beers upside down.

    I am to change the lamp in my Whirlpool VT251 microwave oven. There is no easy way to get to the lamp like a opening or door so I have to take it apart. I am concerned about the high voltage capacitor so I wonder how long after unplugging the oven it takes for it to discharge?

    Hi, have a GE over the stove MW. Blew the fuse a couple of times. If problem isn’t monitor switch and relay is the problem is it possible to buy the relay and install it rather than buying a new board?

    • @riz65
      @riz65 Год назад

      Try removing the two input wires from high voltage transformer and tape them off run the microwave and see if still shoring out. If not the problem is one of the high voltage components. If still blowing fuse you would have to check control side more
