Please do a full version of Santa Fe! This whole medley is phenomenal but the Santa Fe portion is out of this world. I would love to hear more!

Honestly there is nothing more happy to me in that movie than World Will Know.
Santa Fe isn't really a 'happy' song if you think about it in both the movie and the broadway productions.

Santa fe is my all time favorite song from newsies and the guy who sung it did an amazing job.
Vocal Point has so much going for it. The media program at BYU is so awesome and the arranging by McKay Crockett is amazing. The one shot approach is extremely difficult and requires some serious planning and perfect timing to carry it off so perfectly. Well done all of you. Looking forward to the next creation by Vocal Point and the BYU media department. Awesome performance.

The World Will Know uses a harsh word (Damn) and I guess Brigham Young, being a Mormon university, didn't want to support that song or something to that effect.
Jay's right. BYU's a Mormon university. They wouldn't use words like that, especially in Vocal Point.
I can see Utah State or the University of Utah singing The World Will Know because they're band/vocal groups don't care about words like that (Except for Mormon bands/vocal groups at those universities).

I may be thinking of the wrong song, come to think of it but I'd look towards the same idea of maybe the message of the song was just a little much for them.

Underrated musical
A VHS rental of Newsies was a feature of my 13th birthday sleepover. So many handsome young men to choose from, but I always thought Bill Pullman was pretty cute. Thanks for some fun memories.

For me, this video represents the best of the modern Vocal Point era. The newer videos have great singers, but the arrangements and cinematography just aren’t quite as inspired. I’ve probably watched this 100 times!

When I was attending school at BYU - Idaho in 2015, this was the promotional video that was used for the concert that you would be doing, and when I heard this song, I fell in love with it. You all did an INCREDIBLE job singing this and I will forever treasure being able to see you do this live! It was an amazing experience. :)

I just want to thank each member of Vocal Point! I discovered this song like a year and a half ago and ever since then, this is my go to song when something id going wrong. I just lay in my bed and blast this on my speakers and sing along 5 or so times until I feel better. From the bottom of my heart, Thank you to everyone that had anything to do with this video, it has made my life so much easier and better in those dark times.
Ah, the Utah County Courthouse. We held our wedding reception in there! Thanks for a fantastic take on the Newsies music.

Oh my gosh. I could cry. Both the Film major and the Newsies fan in me are screaming, this was amazing! The camerawork (shot in 4K, very nice) and the fact that it was a one-shot is crazy… and the vocals were great, that's such a big crew/cast you got for this! Congrats.
