Im saving up for this rifle now! It was for the Impact, but the .30 cal Panthera for the price and power with slugs, I've changed to now going for this. There is a front bottle option for those who want a higher shot count.
What would be interesting to view is a comparison between this in .22 and the Huben K1 again in .22. Over various distances. Great video.
I don’t get why people say it’s not for hunting. Granted it’s not gonna to be great in tight spaces; but when I’m hunting groundhogs ext. I’m all about shot placement. Long range precision slug gun is exactly what I want. And I don’t need a high shot count either. I want to know my slug is going to go where I want it and be able to have at least one follow up available in case I’m slightly off. Make sure it’s dead quickly instead of a slow death.
It's a superb gun!!!!👍👍👍Wish I could lay my hands on one those..
Hi she's excellent this rifle, nice work beautiful video 👍✊
Wow fantastic Neil , whot a rifle . Great first look 👌
Please keep us updated on your .30 cal! I ordered 1 in .30 700 and what you find will help any with the .30 cal. Yes, I did subscribed to your channel! Yes, I'm in the US. This is the first video I've seen on .30 cal
Loving my .22!
The 500mm version would make an excellent hunting rifle.
It is sweet!
For 30 cal power & accuracy, I’m going Texan .308. Now granted it’s a single shot hunting platform but if you figure out the rifle, the accuracy is there. Ok so for the numbers: 4 shots off bottle (not tethered), 120 grn cast slug, 240+ fpe and 1 MOA at 100 yds. Oh, and a stock rifle… 3000 psi fill. 4 shots tuned to point of aim. Slugs are sized, lubed & weight sorted. Cast wheel weight lead.
Rifle is sub 2 MOA out to 200 yards.
AirForce Texan 308 - 1MOA at 100 yds - Untethered

Does it come with a suppressor? Thing is too loud for my backyard.
The .30 looks like a beast! ;) I ordered a .22/700 mm Panthera and need to get some scope rings. Would you please measure how high the magazine protrudes above the picatinny rail and post that dimension? I'd appreciate that! Thanks!
Have you tried the Patriot Javelin slugs from Matt Dubber via Giles at Airgun 101 shop ?
No, I'll have to get some....
Was the Ft/lb mentioned, sounds pretty pokey, supersonic maybe?
can You at this point share the ”secret” slugs used in the video? 👍🔫🇸🇪
The new 54g from H&N
@@racknload thats great, thats an affordable slug here in sweden, just applied for a FAC, for a 700 mm 30 cal panthera. then the 54 gr will be my goto rabbit slug 😁👍🔫🇸🇪
Check out air tac hunting ,Roelf Vorstner he’s done a decent video on this rifle, some of his input helped during development of it
Nice 👍
Nice 👌Not Sure where The Gauges Are Set 🤔🤔
How come your Maharishi g shock stayed on 12:55 the entire video 🤷🏻♂️
It's broke...
The companies who develop Remfire rifles will never allow air rifles to compete in the same class as there's unfortunately to much money involved. A man on RUclips already tried to see if he could compete in there competition's with his air rifle and they said no the only place were you can shoot air rifles will be at air rifle competition's. I shoot both I have a tactical Ruger 6.5 creedmoor and 5 different caliber air rifles.
nice video! why would you say it's not for hunting? I don't see a reason to get .30 cal instead of .22 if it is not for hunting, can you clarify on that?
I mean the rifle itself due to the length of it....
From what I've seen with everyone else and that rifle I think you'll figure it out. I think that .30 likes a big heavy long slug because it has a lot of power. Hope you figure it out.
Great looking rifle, but it does exactly the same as the Impact, but the Impact is the better all rounder. My Impact MK2 in 30cal loves 59gr 922/950fps & will stack slugs sub moa without issue. Its been designed for the USA PRS market. As for energy, I'll wait to see what is achieved, my Mk2 25cal/+110ftlb, 30cal/+140ftlb, I just haven't tuned for maximum yet, plus don't have Power Block, Tungsten hammer etc 🙂 shall look forward to the full review & once its bedded in (maybe Liam is onboard??)
Know a couple people with upgrades .25 impact mk2’s getting 180ftlbs
No it isn't the same! It is totally different in internals making it the greatest yet! Research and you'll see. But it's preferences on people's opinion. The Panthera is made to give the 22 rimfire competitions a run for their money. Rimfire or Air power. We'll see very soon! Professionals are already saying the new Panthera is going to come out on top. The rifle is already getting a big name in accuracy department. the impact isn't quite as good but close! But the Panthera was made to do just that! A small notch better.
It's not the same at all lol. The tech is completely different and the panthera is purpose built for prs which the Impact is not. The only thing they have in common is they shoot a projectile with air
@@coryb6722 💯 !
@@coryb6722 any chance you can read my comment again. Where did I say they were the same? I said they do the same, big difference. Both have more than enough energy, both accurate at 300yds, though waiting on precision accuracy from the Panthera, both can do PRS.
Another good review but I just don't get High Power FAC air.. I had a .30 Impact at 90 ft lb and as can be seen in the vid they are still loopy as buggery at anything beyond 60 yards.. Even a .22 lr develops more power and is flatter and generally far more reliable than air... Especially FX and I used to sell them..
30 to 40 ft LB I understand as it just flattens the curve... Still good vid and each to their own
Some permissions don't allow powder & sub 12 doesn't have the range. FAC Air fits in perfectly as you can still have the energy of 22lr & the precision
Oh, as for loopy trajectory, that shouldn't matter if you've set the data up correctly & know your holdover points, i dial all my shots & it's awesome watching the projectiles drop in on target
I am sure you are right in that the loop can be irrelevant if you you know your aim points it's still going to do the job.. Mind you if a .22lr is not safe to use then I am dubious that a massively powerful airgun is is any safer.. But fair comments on both points!!
@@todderstaffes i agree, my Impact can have more power than a 22lr. I feel the whole industry surrounding permission safety with certain calibre & types need to be addressed with air rifles being as Powerful as they are now. As an example, i shoot a target slug in 25cal that still has 13ftlb at 1 mile, thats scary. Also, on some permissions near public ROW I find FAC Air quieter so most would never realise what was happening, with 22lr the noise is certainly recognisable
Of those
FX can we have a long range precision HUNTING air rifle. 🤔 Is that too much to ask for. High shot count, 250 fpe, heavy slug slinger at 1000fps 800mm, stiff barrel silent killer.
If it's such a beast why won't that dog hunt. Can it be made to hunt?
Halos!!!!!!
Nearly!!!
🤭 Another fx advert 🙄
I'm uploading a Steyr advert right now then an AGT ad next week..
Sour grapes?
@@racknload how much was this rifle?
@@doomguy584 they are just under 2k
