  • Mod a stripe toothed belt into a loop one.
    Mod a bigger loop toothed belt into a shorter loop.
    Mod a shorter loop toothed belt into a larger toothed belt loop.

    This is exactly what I need to do! I would not have believed that you could do such precision drilling, but clearly it is possible. Thank you so much for this video! It really helps.

    Good info for doing it at home. Same technique used in the field to repair belts until a manufactured belt can be on hand. The pros use a very precise jig and the pins and adhesives are specifically made for this process. BUT! For the price of the jig tool and consumables you could order 1000 custom belts in the size you need. I’m going to try this to see how well it works just for fun, we’ll just incase actully😉

      I really have hope I'll make a video with the thing working on my prototype 3D printer. It requires some patience and steady hand, in deed. Not to mention the right tool...

    Wouldn't seam glue (used in sewing) be more suitable than super glue?

      I belive it's still based on cianure? Or? Don't know. Super glue worked for me.
