Anton Basenko at AIDS2024 Closing Session

Anton Basenko, Chair of INPUD’s Board of Governance representing the Eurasian Network of People who Use Drugs (ENPUD) and Board Member of Eurasian Key Populations Coalition, delivered the 10 minute Closing Address of AIDS2024 on 27 July 2024. Anton is a Ukrainian national currently living in Brussels and has a Master’s degree in international economy. At the IAS conference, he spoke with energy and insight as a person with lived experience of drug use, incarceration, various treatment modes including opioid pharmacotherapy, HIV and hepatitis C.
