hi Thomas, such a beautiful video. we are planning to come by end of april, any idea about the weather experienced in April? is everything is ice or greenery?
Hey Rea. April can be any weather in island. You could have a day of sun, but also rain or snow. We went in April too and in these 4 days it felt like all 4 seasons. Just be ready of any kind of weather and enjoy! It will be low season so way less people.
Vishal Patel hey! With both months you have to be a bit lucky; but in Feb days are short und waterfalls still frozen. Chance to see northern lights is higher though. April is off season (hotels are cheaper and less people). Safe travel!
Great job! I'll be in Iceland for the first time this coming April (2017). I want to camp. Parts of your video made me feel like that's possible. Was it terribly cold / windy?
Thanks! I'm sure you will enjoy it. Expect every kind of weather. From sun, over rain and wind to snow... we had it all in 4 days. But it was not terribly cold, just get dressed well and bring water proof clothes and shoes...
Amazing video! I am planning to visit Iceland this year, at Easter. When in April have you been there? Mid April do you believe the northern lights are still visible? It is a dream to see them! :D
Thanks! We were there mid April and it was one of the last days you could see them, and we very lucky enough. You need to have a clear sky and high activity. You can check online on this site: en.vedur.is/weather/forecasts/aurora/ Hope you will be lucky!
we did this in January. this is a superb video. Love to go again
I'm heading out there beginning of April. Tips on time and location for nothern lights?!
Great video!

Hi! Did you do this as a booked driving tour or did you plan everything yourself?
Hey, we planned and did everything ourselves with a rental car. Enjoy Iceland.
