Master of Wine Reviews China's Most Celebrated Wine

In the wine world, it's hard to find someone who hasn’t heard of Aoyun. Recently, Aoyun sent me their entire 2020 range. I thought this was the perfect opportunity to make a video and share my honest impressions of this vintage. This isn't a promotional video, by the way! Apart from providing the wines, Aoyun hasn’t sponsored this video or any other activities I organize, so everything said in the video is completely genuine.

The price is quite hefty, if I were to choose 1 red to understand Ao Yun’s viticulture philosophy, which one would you recommend? 😊

Despite the nuances, the style is rather consistent across the range of reds. It’s more a matter of vintage I would say as the style has been evolving tremendously due to a better understanding of the terroir but also of what they want to make. The Grand Vin (Ao Yun) should be the best representation of what they want to achieve.

這些中國葡萄酒太貴了，我會用相同價格買 Bordeaux 或者 Super Tuscany，這些酒就留給愛國人士飲吧🙃

在品质和价格相同的情况下，为什么不买一款中国酒呢？ 😁 没试过的话，我建议你喝一款云南的2018年宝庄（零售价1680元）跟同样价格的波尔多酒对比。😆
