@@cutiepiepoco : A "banger" is a song you loses yourself in (in a good way). It's a giddy listen, the one song where everything hits the exact right spots in you and you're on a high for every single second of it. When you hear it, it's the biggest track in the world: it deserves nothing less than stadium expression.
play lots of hands separate. play lots of hands together. play at slow, medium, and fast tempos. it will come together edit: also just hearing the left hand or just the right hand is fun to listen to too. sorta dissecting the music. it also seems to train each hand to be more autonomous if that makes sense edit edit: metronome is also the single best thing you can do to improve your playing with any instrument. especially with bach. don't always use a metronome though. you still wanna sound like a human playing music
The way Bach transitioned from E minor to D minor in measure 14 is so clever; he kept it in E but he diminished the fifth (B-flat instead of B) and the he connected what seemed to be a diminished E chord to a C-sharp, making it a C-sharp diminished 7 chord, the seventh chord in D minor; furthermore he followed all of this with an A, making it seem like a major 5-7 chord of D minor (with a flat 9) which is perfect to transition to D minor. It would have taken me weeks if not months to think up something like that on my own (I do compose by the way). TL;DR Bach’s interesting chord progressions in his pieces really inspire me.
So this piece as a whole is in the key of A minor, right? Now in the Baroque period, which is when this piece is from, composers often choose to let the piece go briefly to another key similar to the overall key. This is called modulation. One very similar key to A minor is E minor. By measure 13, the piece had gone to E minor. Now Bach wants to go to another key very similar to A minor: D minor. Bach chose to have this piece go from E minor to D minor in measure 14, and in a clever way. I just explained in very technical detail how he did that.
As this is a piece written to improve persons technice not to perform on stage and such, there is no definite tempo to play this in, you can play it fast, slow and it will be technically correct What matters is that you play the notes correctly and so : )
One of my favourite, if only for the reason that initially I had to play it slowly. I found some of the fingering is challenging. However, by playing at a much slower tempo nothing of the musicality is lost. In fact it is easier to appreciate the subtle changes form dissonance to harmonic resolution at a lower tempo.
I love this play, in this versión it's sounds very good the piano, fits its style. Also, I find it very fun to play it. It's sounds sort of gothic, doesn't it?
Oh my god I am playing this right now and...I just lost my sheet music paper so I searched this piece up and WaLa POOF I fell in love with this beautiful song
@@lijunfu4053 It's a point of a "scale modal change". And i like how the armonic and "Contrappunto" progression, changes atmosphere in a few moment. 🙌🎹🎶😊

Really wish this had fingering. I can’t use this at all because I just don’t know the proper fingering, it turns out to be full of tricks and sly movements I wouldn’t come up with on my own.
This one a true banger.

Ragnar Þór Guðmundsson they said “play lots of hands together” haha
that means practicing the piece hands together.
Play Mozart requem
Hope I spelt it correctly
Its very true, the song is not hard in the sense that it is too fast, its just hard coordinate.

I love music theory!
I wish I knew more about music theory :c But it's difficult to learn when you can't afford a teacher..
@@ngplayers3053 I learned most of what I know about music theory on a channel called musictheoryguy. I learned the rest in my talented music class.

How long did it take you?
My favourite of this set, and it's really difficult to play correctly, as it puts excessive demands on the weakest fingers of both hands
