Thank you for this, I beleive what i said was that if you posted this on my birthday no one would believe it was freak luck hahaha This song is a grower, it became my favourite over time, this happens with a lot of Bungle songs, they just grow on you 🤩 It's just so beautiful to me and fun and has all the elements that make up a great Bungle song. Yes they used to dress up a lot for shows, not just halloween!!! Even in a lot of press shots this are in costume and I always had fun trying to work out who each of them were lol But anyway thank you for this reaction, it was fun to watch and glad you enjoyed ❤️

I remember listening to the self titled album, and I was expecting songs like Travolta and My Ass is on Fire, that had metal driven sounds, but what I got instead is a VERY creative piece of art, that I didn't quite understand at all at the time. I remember not liking the album at all, because I was a metal junkie lmao. But I gave it chances, I listened a few times and after a few listens this became my favourite album OF ALL TIME. It's insanely creative and full of fun. I pity those who hate on the album lol, I see lots of people who like FNM but say they were never able to get into that Bungle stuff. The people who get it know how beautiful this world is

Since you mentioned you like abstract stuff, and seeing that you tagged SanFran which I'm assuming is where you're from/are, there was a lot of weird stuff that came from the bay area in the 90s that have associated with each other. You of course got Primus, but other good bands that emerged include Idiot Flesh and then Sleepytime Gorilla Museum (similar members), and a cool female-led band called Stolen Babies. Whether or not you react to them on your channel, I think you would enjoy checking them out!

I watched this band play a Halloween show in Pontiac Michigan over 20 years ago. They came out in costume as the Red Hot Chili Peppers, and played four RHCP songs while making fun of them. They got sued for it. There was a huge beef between the two bands for a few years.

He claims Patton was stealing his moves, and trying to look like him. Mr. Bungle were actually really big RHCP fans at one point, so it could be true. Years went by though, and both Bungle and FNM morphed very far away from the RHCP sound. Even though they were doing their own thing, Kiedis had Bungle thrown off a few festivals by refusing to headline if Bungle was on the bill. One of those shows, Bungle had already flown in for too, and was told they couldn't be on. At this point Bungle was not even a fraction as big as RHCP. This show at Clutch Cargos was chosen, because Chad Smith is from Royal Oak Michigan, and Kiedis is actually from Grand Rapids Michigan. They knew it would get back to them.

It's one thing to think someone's ripping your "moves," another entirely to try to (& kind of achieve) destroy their careers. I believe we bungle fans were denied more albums from them from the 99 to about 2 yrs ago. Because of kiedis. Even his band mates (esp. Flea) pointedly did NOT back kiedis' play in this case. And yes, Bungle live was just AMAZING. Patton has been great forever, has gotten BETTER as a vocalist since 89 (the Real Thing), & totally gonzo. Manic energy onstage, but like the man said, through all his antics, he doesn't seem to miss a NOTE.
