Tucson had record-setting heat this summer - my Aeonium arboreum took a beating. I completely cut it back & will replant some of the cuttings once they've healed over. This plant was large - I gave away a whole box full of cuttings! I'll be doing a video soon showing how I replant the cuttings. Thanks for watching! Hugs, Nell

FANTASTIC Pruning Nell, I have to give some of my Aeoniums a good pruning back as they are very overhanging, thats wonderful you have lots of cuttings from this big plant, thanks so much for sharing with us, and sending you lots of love and happiness and PLANT POWER from across the Emerald Isle XXXX

I love this plant…I really like them long…..and sculptural. I find heavy light coloured stones on the pot greatly help with wind stabilisation. Beautiful pot. Hessian around the pot in summer to keep the roots cooler.

Great, this is one of those plants I wish I could grow! One of my favorites but I don't have enough light. Look forward to see how you plant these cuttings.

I have this plant (just bought it a month ago or so) so it’s still a tiny cute plant, wonder if it’ll ever become like this one 😅 Hopefully not right now though since I live in a small place and wouldn’t have enough space for any larger plants. Hope the plant will grow with my home haha.

Hi - You may not have this one because there are many types of Aeoniums. And when growing indoors, you don't have to worry about it getting this big! Nell

I have an aeonium that is one stem with a bloom on top. The stem is too tall and is bending. How can I cut it back, how far can I cut it back? Thank you.

Does cutting them back thicken the stem? Thank you.
