Thanks for sharing this video. That carpet you are working on is crazy. Just take your time and be careful out there. You are doing a great job. Have a blessed day
that was a crazy amount of carpet in just one area! Good job pacing yourself! At least once its done you will know exactly what is on your plot. Take care!
My plot was much the same when I took it over. There was a good raised bed already on the plot, I dug all the weeds out to start carrots and parsnips off but there was a thin layer of soil and then a massive layer of carpet and crap. Took me 2 months to clear it all out. And 5 trips to the tip
Carpet ?? ! At our allotment site, we have 3 monthly inspections and CARPETS are banned. If peoples plots are deemed not up to standard, they get a lwarning letter first of all and later eviction.
Oh Lordy Mark let’s hope Mother Nature takes a break soon from storm ⛈️ activity. We have just had a foot of snow last week and pouring torrential rains this week 🤦🏼♀️. You’ll get there Nark your hard work is already obvious 💪💪. Have a great week, Ali ☔️☔️🇨🇦 Ps we had a friend thst laid carpet for a living and used to bury old stuff in his yard 🤬🤬🥶
that carpet is beyond ridiculous hope the former owner was not a carpet fitter using the plot to dump remnants- i have a lot of carpet to get rid of on my allotment from the previous owners but it came in handy for the back of the shed
Thanks for sharing, just shows how much work it is taking on a new plot.

Perseverance will pay off in the end. Pick your spirits up with some seed sowing together with a cuppa. Subscribed 🌱
