Ben is one of my favorite characters to play. Getting that counter off to swap into another character while the enemy is tied up with Ben brings a smile to my face every time. Pity I don't have a proper team set up for him
I’ve picked up basically every banner character minus Yanagi and Astra, I have an M6 Qingyi I basically spent a used car on, and somehow, someway, Ben is the most fun character. I have him maxed out, but I’m building him weirdly towards maximum energy regen, even with the battle pass engine (still figuring out if it works, no stats help). My favorite most fun team (not meta) is Lucy Ben Lighter and it’s all focused on maximizing Ex Specials.

3:30 incorrect information: agent ben passive scaling is energy regen. cesar w engine is perfect for making ben apply buffs, stun, aaaaand sub dps. as well as sustain w shield strength. i was a guy who pulled cesar w engine on purpose just for ben, and it's perfect for him. ben energy is resolved completely w 2 pc energy. allowing you to run impact or def on slot 6

Really hope the devs would add the element specific resonias to Lost Zero. Oh and maybe a giant boss akin to Niveneh without the long invulnerable phases preferably.
I'm waiting for a Set/Engine that's centered around dodges and dodge-attacks that work on Defense units to make a "Ben Dodger" meme build. (yes, because his dodge is stubby but it still has i-frames so theoretically can work on everything)
I am going to keep using Ben Bigger until we get another slow defensive player, and even then he will still be somewhere in my rotation. I use him as a sub-DPS with Soldier 11 and Koleda. He keeps Soldier 11 alive and he adds that extra damage from his EX Special with his W-Engine. With Trigger coming I see Ben losing a bit of his play time, but he is still best bear and really fun to play.
Should You Build Ben Bigger in 2025? Heck yes! - Ben's on my Mono-Fire Team: Soldier 11, Lighter, Ben (M6) and Rocket Boo and Belobog Team Anton (M4), Koleda, Ben (M6), Saftey Boo. - The mono-fire team in particular slaps; it was my main for months and still is while I build a Miyabi team as my second team. - He's stun, good damage, and good rotations all in one. His skill dashed forward to slam enemies, or if parried correctly sends him into a spinning attack. His normal combo feels slow, but it hits so hard (and stuns well). He can actually block (I think only Caesar and Seth can do that too). if Ben is with Koleda, they can do combo-attacks. - I could go on, but I think Ben is criminally underrated by the community. Prydwen has him in tier 3 and I won't throw shade, I'm just going to say I think they just don't understand him if he's that low down. I'd have him up in tier 1. So, here's my PSA as a Ben player - he's worth it. I can't stand characters like Lucy, Piper or Nicole (who are both apparently "good") because I hate their play-styles. Ben suits my play-style best.
Eh...I think that could be Koleda, since she boost chains attacks and Evelyn can convert EX in chain attacks Koleda will be used more with her (Even more if we take in count Astra and her assist boost)
I'm not sure who you have currently or what your pulls are like, but I'm curious: Maybe Ben could work with Koleda and Evelyn, then you slot in Lucy into the Soldier 11 and Lighter team? You'd get whatever the Belobog buff is, and your Soldier 11 team would be arguably stronger than it is now. It would get you a whole second team too; to use for Shiyu or whatever other shit requires multiple teams. Then again, you'd have two mono-fire teams, so it's probably not the best idea after all.

I really would like for Mihoyo to add a damage contribution UI at the end of Deadly Assault so I can see how much damage Ben contributes in my Sons of Calydon wheel chair team. I love playing him with the SoC wheelchair since Lighter and Lucy buff him and Burnice does nice off-field anomaly procs
i love ben but i agree his biggest problem is how limited his teammate options are from being 1.0, i managed to 3 star one of the deadly assault fights regardless with him and grace cause astra is to good.

I actually got him at M4S3, and I leveled all his spells and core passive, but I never really understood how to get much value out of him. Tried proto punk, shockstar, I like playing Soldier 11 but I feel like my best bet is to put astral voice on him and swing jazz on my Lucy and never ever use Ben lol.
I use Ben in my main Miyabi team along with Lucy. I have Lucy built with a bit of impact for faster stuns while keeping her full buff, Bens shield is also easy to put up and keep up and it gives a bit of stats that Miyabi appreciates. Is this the best Miyabi team? definitely not, but it frees up a lot of my other units for modes Like Deadly Assault where I find Miyabi can get away with a sub optimal team.

Evie only needs an Stun or Support to proc her core so as long as Koleda/Lighter/Qingyi is on that team, Ben will work with her.

My biggest take away as a new Player, who started with 1.4 Miyabi, is that Ben is usable without Belobog Ind.

Yes he's the best defensive tank in the whole game and I will fight anybody else who says otherwise.
