- Model T Ford Club of Victoria Cen'T'enary Tour 2008.
Held at Echuca-Moama in September and October 2008, the Cen'T'enary Tour commemorated the 100th anniversary of the Model T Ford. 270 Entrants spent the week touring local towns and attractions providing a great spectacle to the locals and providing a fitting tribute to Henry Ford and his iconic Model T 100 years on.
I love watching this just to see how many different body styles were produced, 2-door, 4-door, open top, closed top, 2 and 4 passenger models, truck style, even a race car. Plus, you can see how the car changed, subtly, over the years. Fun to watch.
And ... one door!
By 2027, every single Model T ever made will be at least 100!
Beautiful machines, congrats to the happy owners.
Yeah it's probably my most favorite thing to do in the world
i wish that i had one just to drive around and to have so much fun oh yeah!
Imagine the traffic was filled with these back then...
Someone is having a cheeky laugh with Fords in front of the Holden Museum.
I WAS THERE BUDDY 1920 on my 1906 model K Ford
Thanks for such an awesome video for posterity. Such a great car, with so many aftermarket repurpose kits.( Tractor, trundle, stationary power plant etc.
driving and seeing them beautifull cars is real adventure...todays cars are good but there is no adventure in driving.
That's because automobile driving has been common place for many decades, now. That's why driving a car doesn't have that feel of adventure as it did back 100 years ago.
The Good Old Days !
who's the music by??
beautiful tradition and class
In recent years, there have been several attempts to re-write history and claim that Ford's Model T was not designed to run on ethanol/alcohol. Attempts have also been made to re-write history to say that John Rockefeller did not use Prohibition to shut down the alcohol fuel industry.
I just published a thorough review and analysis of Ford's intentions for the Model T, as well as an eye opening look at what I believe John Rockefeller intended to do.
The story is called: Yes, Tin Lizzie Was An Alcoholic. You can find it at www.theautochannel.com/news/2019/04/20/660939-yes-tin-lizzie-was-alcoholic.html .

Wow
so before heaters were an option in cars did people just freeze or did they keep blankets with them
they actually did have heaters. the exaust and engine are right under your feet, and it works!!!
@@modeltman6514 so I assume in the summer it would be pretty hot in the car?
@@inkey2 yes, it can be for closed cars. the open ones, like my touring car are not too bad when i put the top down. some people use layers of tin foil or insulation under the floor mats during the summer and take it off in the winter
@@modeltman6514 wow.....that's really interesting. Thanks for the info. People today take all kinds of things for granted. When I tell people when I was a kid....we would drive 1000 miles (and back) to visit my grand parents in a car with no radio, no rugs, no AC, 3 on the tree standard in the hottest part of the summer they act like I must have been in a stage coach. In reality it was a 1955 Plymouth,
Maravilha ! JC
