My review of the latest knife I have purchased from BPS Knives, the model BS3FTS. This excellent company has been impressing me lately with their low prices ($23) and well done designs. Check out the text description box for BPS Knives, useful item links, and new blades of all sorts. Enjoy :]
How about a Condor Skirmish
Highly recommend BPS Knives. I’ve been a Mora fan forever, but after getting a few of these, I’ve been trying to get all of their models to use and test in the woods/mountain.
I am now the proud owner of 4 BPS knives . Made in Ukraine. I have the one you reviewed. Mine is "Stainless Steel."which I think yours is .I'm going to get another one soon ,but I'm not too sure which one to get next .
im so glad you started reviewing these... they need a better following.. i have 15 of them and cant belive how nice they are...i even did some of my own reviews because i couldent find any online, and wanted more information out there
That is awesome, we need more reviewers, there is a very high turn over, so many have left RUclips since back when I started.
@@WeAllJuggleKnives your community interaction is top notch. It really shows the care you put into your channel, and the passion you have for whatever your doing.. You’ve personally responded to every comment I have made on your videos and that’s a huge deal. Will continue to watch and really hope you do more bps reviews.. I’m waiting on the bps savage , their first full flat grind bushcraft knife and will be doing a review as soon as I get some time on it. Keep doing what your doing, because it’s awesome
As always brother great review, no BS just practical use and honest feedback, thank you. Never heard of these knives before, definitely going to check them out now.
Thanks, my friend, you will love them.
Thanks! I didn't know I have BPS in my neigborhood))) Very pleasant to know!
You are a lucky man!
This looks like a great knife, thank you for sharing!
Welcome, buddy!
Good review thanks for sharing
Thanks for watching!
Best BPS reviews I’ve seen. I have pretty large hands. Trying to decide between this, the BS2, HK1, and BS1. Which would you say has the largest handle? Absolutely love their knives. I Have the HK5 & Adventurer. Hoping the BPS workers are all safe and ok. Good people with great customer service. Great review!
HK1 I believe
Very cool review... I believe I purchase one in the near future just to compare with my Mora HD the sheath looks good.
Excellent, I think you will enjoy owning this blade :]
HK5 looks cool, I will check out the video for it soon. Enjoyed the video.
Excellent, that is a great one, too.
Very appreciated!
Nice review! Easier Old School with nice leather sheaths. Traditional look and feel. My latest version is the "Adventurer" ~$40. Not a fan of leather danglers. But, it rides to high without it. So, I installed a retaining strap and #24 snap. Thank You for posting!!
I'll check it out!
I wish they made a BK-2-esque one.
Thanks for another excellent review. Finally, a viable alternative to the Mora. I have nothing against the Mora, but I prefer a real full-tang and natural scales. About Mora, I just can't get into the plastic sheath, although I have watch zillions of reviews that say it is a secure sheath and durable, man, I just like leather, lol. Thank you also for also giving us the HK5 link. I love the aggressive handle and the glass breaker on that one...for $27 bucks. In a word: wow.
Leather it is, then! Glad I helped you find a great blade and company!
Yeah, I was gonna grab a Mora, but... I think this edges them out for me.
The more I see these BPS knives, the more I like them. I think I need to add a couple to the collection! Cheers, my friend.
Excellent, you'll like them!
looks great, nice video, new subscriber
Excellent, thank you and welcome aboard!
like others, was a mora fan, have many. I prefer bps. bs3fts replaced my HD companion, and have 2 bs1fts coming for edc use.
How does the BS3 fit into the Companion's plastic sheath? Is it possible to swap the sheaths?
Seems to be a very good bushcraft knife and with the full tang it's a big plus BPS this is the first I heard of them and at that price it one to keep in the Amazon cart 🛒
🤔⚔️😎⚔️🤔
Excellent, glad to introduce you to this brand :]
As always a great review. Gotta add I'm a big fan of BPS I have the adventurer. It amazes me the leather sheath is very good quality.
I just got a knife its Chinese looks like a Busse dogsoldier but it doesn't have fake logo so it's not a clone. It's A8 steel( which I've never heard of)
Anyway this thing was $78 with a kydex dangler sheath. 7 3/4blade
It is now my absolute favorite knife. It's unbelievable what you get for that price and that steel has really held up. I might need to make a video myself. Mainly because I've never seen anything about this steel other then it's steel for chipper blades. I'm guessing wood chippers but I guess anything can be chipped. Lol.
Well basically I was wondering if you had ever heard of A8 you collection far exceeds mine.
Cool, I have a Moorhaus heavy machete that resembles the Busse Battle Mistress. A8 is a tough tool steel, I am guessing it is like a "Super D2" maybe?
@@WeAllJuggleKnives so far it's held a amazing edge. If you get a chance you gotta try one.
@@WeAllJuggleKnives this is the knife I got it after watching this just mine is uncoated and they ran out of 52100
ruclips.net/video/-aLryEEUvrQ/видео.html
If I had one, I would never be able to resist calling it the Bepis. The Ukrainians make some good stuff. I've gotten some very nice carving tools and chisels for incredibly low prices from an outfit called Stryi tools.
They should name it the Commie-Panion. I know they are not commie anymore, but for old times sake :]
I'm still a bit wary on the steel. I would pick one up to test but with the mora and condor terrasaur in the backyard/ hiking rotation, I just can't justify buying one.
The steel is awesome.. I prefer it to 1095 , much less chippy than the mora steel... tough as hell and very easy to maintain the edge.. their heat treatment is absolutely perfect
Wicked Sharp!!!
For sure!
The guy doing the voice overs does nice work.
Thanks, bro!
Trying my hardest to decide if i like this or the BS2... very similar, but slightly different...
This is my favorite from them, but I plan to pick up most of their models over time.
@@WeAllJuggleKnives at the price point agreed. I went with the 3 because it's slightly harder steel
Their sheaths will hold most mora knives too.
Impressive. I was skeptical of the 1066 but looks like it holds an edge just fine. Formerly Cyclist01222.
Thanks, bro, welcome back!
For the price shite that ain't bad at all brother.
👊💀
Aw yeah. As the economy goes down the tubes, good value knives will be the gift that keeps on givin' :]
I would love to know if the Companion fits in that sheath?
Yes it does, and it helps to push it in and stretch it a bit.
@@WeAllJuggleKnives Thank you!
It is not available now any other place I can buy this ?
Back in stock, a bit pricier with the current turmoil
BPS are great to deal with, they refund within 24 hrs, unfortunately my order was going to take custom knife time to complete, so I cancelled.
Good to hear their customer service is top notch!
I tried to google 1066 steel but all I can find is 1095, 1045, 1060 and so on. Does someone know the characteristics of this steel ?
It must be a European thing, I figured it must be similar to 1060.
@@WeAllJuggleKnives thank you !
Was told they also use 1070 I know mine does very good. Very easy to sharpen and holds a edge great.
Im still yet to see anyone world wide slice through paper better than the juggler.
I am starting to think that's a robotic arm!
#slicingmagician
Thanks, my friend :]
Just what we needed, an improved Ukrainian Mora Companion design knockoff. I like it. :)
Gotta stock up on these while Ukraine is still a nation :]
@@WeAllJuggleKnives Order placed, also for the HK5, off of eBay as Amazon is out of stock for me at least. I'm a sucker for classic steel knives with wooden grips and leather sheaths. :)
@@WeAllJuggleKnives That comment aged... Eerily.
C'est une copie du Mora copagnon MG
*B* *E* *P* *I* *S*
Thanks for watching, my friend.
Can the scales be removed? Or are those driven eschutcheons cosmetic? EDIT: never mind, they can. thank you.
A knife that Mora should have made.
True that :]
Le bois de la manche a l'aire fragile.
can you get someone who's not so beefy to hold the knife....he's scarey
LOL thanks bro
@@WeAllJuggleKnives for real, you've inspired many, thank you
why does everyone say ''made in the ukraine'' 💀
