Not sure if you guys gives a damn but if you're stoned like me during the covid times you can stream all of the latest movies on instaflixxer. Been watching with my gf recently xD
Thanks! The trick is to go slower than you think you need to. Making small adjustments and not over steering. Happy 4th to you as well! Keep on tractoring!
Ahhhh, I gotcha now! This makes total sense! Great idea and thanks for the tip. I’m actually going to be working on this same job tomorrow and I’m going to try this! Brilliant!!! 👍😁👍 Keep on tractoring
if you get use to backing with mirrors it's much easier, and some of those Quary loader guys are great and some are terrible at guessing weight, and some just don't care.
For my 99 half ton truck that’s only rated to tow 8000lbs yes I like it. If I had a newer or bigger truck I’d want to have a bigger trailer. But for now it works great! 👍 Keep on tractoring!
I was happy, if I had to travel a longer distance I wouldn't have had them fill my trailer so full. It was a slow drive to my destination. Keep on tractoring!
Those back-up beepers are designed to be used in residential areas were normal high pitched one would wake people up that are not in the immediate vicinity of the piece of equipment
You're right about the delivery fee. Did you rent that trailer or do you own it? I can't justify the cost of the trailer right now, but it would be useful.
I own the trailer, it’s just big enough for my BX to fit in but small enough for my half ton truck to pull. The BX didn’t make the trip this time, hopefully next! Keep on tractoring!
You should bring 1 of the tractors up with the rear grader blade! How far is the Lake from your house or Moms house? Beautiful spot, what Lake is that?
The lake is called Pokegama Lake. It’s about a three hour drive from where we live. The BX will come with us next time to smooth things out better. It’s a great place that my dad built before he passed. Lot of sentimental value! Keep on tractoring!
I had the opportunity but I figured I’d never be pulling anything that heavy with a half ton truck. Most of the time I’m within my limits. Being that I could take all backroads and go slow I didn’t mind the overloaded trailer. Nothing broke at least. Keep on tractoring !
I understand that "Yes" you may have saved money but you only got half the job done. It would have been so much faster if you loaded your BX on the trailer and brought that up to the country place and had a 12 wheeler dump truck bring and spread out the gravel and use the BX to level it off a bit. Wish you all the best for the 4th of July celebration buddy.
In our area the stone suppliers will no longer tailgate spread stone on your driveway due to liability reasons. For decades they used to but no more. Now you just get one big pile.
They wanted $200 for delivery and wouldn’t have spread it out. I wasn’t able to get the BX there this time but plan to soon and haul a couple more loads. Keep on tractoring
I assume you own that trailer? I have never seen a dump trailer with less than 7500lb axles with brakes. We wont rent one to anyone with less than a 3/4 ton truck. I have a 16' trailer with two 3500 lb axles both with brakes so I can safely load 5500 lbs. My dirt guy will not put more than two yards of top soil in it. The air bags save you! lol I hope you have a 5.4 in that f 150 and trailer brakes. I was puckered the whole time. Once when I was young and had nerves of steel, I hauled 35 pretty greasy railroad ties with a 1992 ford ranger x cab 4x4 4.0 liter with a spring lift kit and 33" tires. You don't know what tense is till you have a trailer pushing you! I should be dead, that is almost impossible to correct without having the power to jerk the trailer forward! You made it though!
Oh man, I bet that was quite the load for a ford ranger. I do have the 5.4 and trailer brakes. 5000 lb axels are more common on trailer this size. I chose the 3500 lb axels just because I knew I would only be pulling it with my half ton and not hauling sand very often. I was very happy to have brakes with that first load though! Yikes Keep on tractoring!
My truck is not setup for towing, it's max tow rating is only around 7k. The new trucks these days are a lot higher. What year is your Chevy. Keep on tractoring!
Glad you made it 👍
I gave you a like because I haven't seen many F-150s pull a load like that! Great job.
It wasn’t the smartest thing I’ve ever done but I was able to go really slow and take my time. Appreciate the like!
Keep on tractoring!
Not sure if you guys gives a damn but if you're stoned like me during the covid times you can stream all of the latest movies on instaflixxer. Been watching with my gf recently xD
@Khalil Diego yea, been watching on instaflixxer for since december myself :D
Very nice! Unless it was edited, I'm surprised that the trailer would dump when full. Most won't. Glad you made it and thanks for the ride along.
I did have to shovel a couple hundred pounds from the front to the back but it eventually lifted. Load trail makes a good trailer.
Keep on tractoring!
A pro couldn't have backed that trailer load any better. Have a great 4th.
Thanks! The trick is to go slower than you think you need to. Making small adjustments and not over steering. Happy 4th to you as well!
Keep on tractoring!
@ SFC Retired Yes, he backed up that trailer like a pro....I still struggle backing up my trailer😫
Jon like the video and your helper too , Have a great 4th of Juily .
She’s a pretty good helper, sleeps on the job once in awhile but I’ll keep her.
Keep on tractoring!
Thanks for the video👍🏼
have you ever tried putting something in front of the tail gate (drum, hay bale) when tipping like that so the load is diverted into the wheel tracks?
I’m trying to figure out why this would be helpful. 🤔. Confused.. sorry.
Ahhhh, I gotcha now! This makes total sense! Great idea and thanks for the tip. I’m actually going to be working on this same job tomorrow and I’m going to try this! Brilliant!!! 👍😁👍

@@ritterjon awesome hope it works for you. loving the videos.
Chain a log in the middle of the box then fill material on top/around it. It’ll divert it to the sides.
if you get use to backing with mirrors it's much easier, and some of those Quary loader guys are great and some are terrible at guessing weight, and some just don't care.
Good video Jon. Lots of work 👍
Jon and Family enjoyed the work keep us posted
Thank You
God Bless

Morning Jon. Signs of summer! Happy Independence Day to you and your family!
All those tractors and attachments and you are using a rake? Very funny great video happy fourth!!
The BX wasn’t able to make the trip this time. Next time I head up there I’ll haul a few more loads and use the BX. I hate rakes!!
Keep on tractoring!
Hi Jon! That’s an impressive dump trailer you have! That’s another item on my wish list! Keep on tractoring!
Good evening Sir !! Very handy trailer that you have Sir !!! Cheers !!! and happy independence Day !!!
What pit was that from?
Love that trailer
The pit is called Hawkinson Pit up in Grand Rapids MN. The trailer has been a useful tool to have!

Thanks, I thought it did not look like any that I knew
How many tons was that in your trailer?
How do you like the size of the 5x10? I like the fact it fits in tight places etc.
For my 99 half ton truck that’s only rated to tow 8000lbs yes I like it. If I had a newer or bigger truck I’d want to have a bigger trailer. But for now it works great! 👍

Surprised the gravel bank let you leave over loaded. Most around my area wont.
I was happy, if I had to travel a longer distance I wouldn't have had them fill my trailer so full. It was a slow drive to my destination.
Keep on tractoring!
How's she goin'? Pretty heavy loads!!! Nice looking gravel though and the drive way will thank you for it!!! Happy Independence Day!!!
The driveway needed it! I’ll probably add a few more loads and have my BX to help next time.
Keep on tractoring!
Will a 6x10 trailer will my bx 1880 fit in it if needed
It sure should!
Keep on tractoring!

Good evening Sir. Where did you buy it or ordered the air springs kit.
I bought them from amazon. Firestone air rite I think is what they are called. Perfect solution for what I needed.

Nice job, definitely a cooler youtuber
Did you kill the tires or heat up the fenders with that load
Came close but I made it! Way over loaded but took it very slow!
Keep on tractoring!
How much would u charge for a job like that? Trying to get into this
Tractor tune with Tim just did a great video field how much to charge. Check out his channel. He discusses this issue in detail.
Keep on tractoring!
How many tons was that with the first load?
is that the barton pit?
I guess I really don’t know the name of it. Between Grand Rapids and Cohaset.
Keep on tractoring!
Jon have good 4th God bless
You as well! 🗽
Definitely should have went with at least 5200# axles!
I had the opportunity but I figured I’d never be pulling anything that heavy with a half ton truck. Most of the time I’m within my limits. Being that I could take all backroads and go slow I didn’t mind the overloaded trailer. Nothing broke at least.

That ford is rated for 7k. No need for a 10k trailer.
What size truck you have
99 F150, I know, I need a bigger truck!!
Keep on tractoring!
Rocks and sand are heavy just need to be careful on weight.
That was only $30? Wow
Dirt and gravel is relatively cheap. It’s the delivery charge that is expensive.
Keep on tractoring.

Where was the tractor? Waited to see you break out the new tractor to spread the load out. The new Kubota just isn't feeling the love.
It just didn’t work out to bring it this trip. I’ll add a few more load of gravel and have the BX next time.
Keep on tractoring!

I need a 6x12 dump trailer to do just what you're doing, maybe a 6x14. My Chevy will tow more than that Ford!! Lol!

I see you have been getting some grief about no tractor so i wont say anything😊
