    I would like to thank CaddyJim8867 for pointing out that When I mentioned K-DUB racing the Premier Class while still.being a full.time lights rider, i said it was a one off thing when, in fact, Kevin did this 9 times, sxoring a 3rd and 2nd before eventually claimiing victory at the charlotte race

    The insane thing about K-Dub is that he beat all of MC, RC, Reed, Stewart, Dungey, and RV straight up; no other rider can say they've beaten that many all-timers. Dude's a legend, even without that national title.

    Awesome video!! K-Dub is a beast!!! Also let’s not forget he was also a fan favorite for doing all of these sick transfers at the beginning of the show 👀

    mate please keep doing these videos, they are awesome, i'm a 27 year old motocross fan and love watching these types of videos because it reminds me of when i was a little kid growing up watching these races.. Also for the young ones who'd like to know these legends in a quick moment is awesome. There's a huge list of riders, and i'd recommend talking maybe a little slower so we can appreciate better the story you're telling which are great ones, like a 10min video i feel would be right on the spot, obviously some riders will have longer or shorter videos depending on their history but around the 10min mark i feel is a nice sweet spot.. Chad Reed, Lawrence brothers early beginnings, charmicael, stewart brothers, tim ferry, jeremy mcgrath, villopoto, dungey, pastrana, ryan hughes, john dowd, jeff stanton and ward, bob hannah, ricky jhonson, stefan everts, cairoli and the list goes on

    Great vid. Id like to see the what happened to charlie bogard.. he was a huge prospect in the 125 class in the early 2000s. Also an accolades ride maybe micheal pachone cause one year he was great and it seemed the next he was gone

    Used, and still do occasionally wath him at local tracks. It's insane to see that speed and smoothness on a bike.

    What is insane to me is this man, one of the greatest motorcycle racers of his time, made so many kids including myself so inspired and left in awe and his son... Plays baseball!?!?!?

    • @TheMoto411Official
      @TheMoto411Official  23 дня назад

      Maybe moto just didn't work out for his son or maybe he just wasn't as into it as his dad. Such a gnarly and brutal sport look at how much work Evan Ferry and Tate Reed are putting in just to try to go pro! Its truly an insanely mentally and physically taxing sport and not everyone can get to the level of a Kevin Windham, you know what i mean?

    • @motobevy7850
      @motobevy7850 23 дня назад

      @@TheMoto411Official nah I want to be able to get it, and I can see the practicality part of it. I just don't think personally I could understand it fully, I'm not Kevin Windhams son tho. I feel like if I was I couldn't help but try to continue the greatness of what my dad accomplished. No hate towards his son but on the contrary about the sport being gnarly and brutal it seems like kdub did such an amazing thing that it would almost be like Windham blood to be competitive and try to set the bar higher. Again no disrespect towards any of them but just look where deegan is, it's such an amazing opportunity to set your name in stone for pretty much ever

    Still to this day he is the only rider to win a main event in three different decades what a legend I was always a k-dub fan he will always be one of the greats

  • @CaddyJim
    @CaddyJim 7 месяцев назад +1

    Good I was hoping you were going to include him winning the premier class race while still racing the lights. You said it was a one-off thing it was actually his 9th time he would do it a few times each year scoring 2 podiums the 3rd & a 2nd before getting that win

    the crash you showed wasnt the actual crash from the heat race, that crash looks like it may be from 2011 in a main event, im not sure. the heat race footage used to be on here, but isnt anymore. that was a great race

    Here's a stat most people never think about.....
    KW14 Raced...... and BEAT STRAIGHT UP every single champion spanning 3 decades of 3 different dominate eras. That means he is the only rider to ever straight up beat McGrath, Carmichael, Reed, Dungey, Vilopoto and Stewart ........ IN THEIR PRIMES AND AT THE PEAK OF THEIR DOMINANCE. If those riders had never been born it would have been Kdub with the titles.

  • @thedrewdavid

    Why wouldn't you put 1998 125w champ in the title?
