No little town is complete without an "antique store". Build a small shed to store the random old stuff you come across from time to time. Start it off with the old bottles and then when you come across an old tool or miscellaneous tidbit you can add it to the antique store :)
Corrupted files are just part of the digital world. I had a bad week with that myself and basically made an episode useless. Oh well, I'm new to youtube and mostly just having fun so that's all part of the learning curve I figure.
