    G4 is the epitome of additive free!! Felipe Camarena would NEVER use additives in his process.

    Gentlemen, you King of Anejo Tequila review is interesting. I've watch quite a few of your reviews and I have enjoyed them. If I may suggest take a look at the "Additive Free List". I agree that the ArteNOM is additive free, BUT so is G4 - the Herradura Legend is NOT additive free - it does contain additives.
    Please keep doing your reviews, Thank you

    Next tequila review, I suggest making it on famous individuals tequila. Codigo 1530- George Strait, Teremana “The Rock”, and Flecha Azul- Mark Wahlberg. Glad to be an assistant on that review.

    I can have a repo that is darker than an anejo if the barrel is new.

    Flècha Azul is owned by Abraham Ancer PGA pro and a business partner. Mark Wahlberg bought in within the last year.

    cant they manipulate the color and taste with additives

    • @criticslab
      @criticslab  Год назад

      They can. But since this recording we have learned that two of these are additive free, the G4 and ArteNOM. Not 100% positive but the Herradura Legend has additives. It's still good though.

    G4... Additives... LoL SMH... I suppose if you count oak barrel influence as an additive. Now the Herradura probably so.

      To add to our last response, we were wrong. We have since learned, thanks to you and others, that G4 does not have additive's, as I always try and state, we are still learning and so far this has been an excellent journey especially as our pallets have changed and with information provided by you and other viewers when we are wrong. So please keep it up when we are wrong. Before we started this journey I had no idea just what we had stepped into and it has so far been excellent even with the mess ups. Even in the past month to 2 months my tastes have shifted and I and Travis find ourselves revising our opinions. Thanks again.

    If artenom 1146 is your favorite virtually no other tequila is going to beat it for your tastes. You're gonna have to up the ante with other over the top 1146 offerings like Fuentaseca 7.8.11.15yr and Tears of Llorona

    Your not tequila people but if you like them to taste like bourbon drink bourbon another tequila you would like is tears of liorona

      Hi thank you for commenting. And you are absolutely correct in that we like Tears! It is great and we have reviewed it. Been thinking of how to respond for a few days and I do believe we have it. First, saying we are not tequila people, is a subjective phrase. Maybe to you we are not, and that's cool, but I have had more tequila in my life then any other Alcohol, most of it bad, but you get my point. So, to myself, I am tequila people. This is Josh by the way. And I do happen to like my Tequila with Bourbon "Flavor" so I do like Anejo and Extra Anejo. Do I want it to taste exactly like bourbon, heck no. If I wanted bourbon, I have plenty, I would just drink that. Recently, if you watched our Tequila Brand Challenge, you would see where I discovered a Blanco I absolutely enjoy, even neat. Haven't found any repo's yet but I hope to soon. Thanks again for watching and commenting, we really appreciate it!
