I LOVE exalted, I have a lot of fun doing the 5 exalted every game challenge, its great :) definitely hope 5 exalted gets a minor buff but more than anything like you said i pray they keep exalted throughout every set, like with augments and portals, it fits perfectly over normal tft, even the name isnt specific to the set theme which gives me hope that its planned as a permanent add
Honourable mention is definitely Stand United which made a comeback as a Gold Augment. Regarding the mid-game, depends highly on the costs of the Exalted,for example, if you can fit 5 exalted without any 4costs, it's always better to fit it ASAP, use it to get ahead of tempo, hit lvl8, cut back to 3 exalted + strongest board, then use that board to push the remaining levels for 5 exalted, or in certain cases just 3star your current board, one of the best examples of this being the Alune Amumu Thresh Exalted Core
yeah amumu being exalted always feels great, you can get damage reduction so easily through his trait which pairs so well with the exalted damage boost. but i've actually not taken stand united much this set but it's still as great as it's ever been, glad it's back
Exalted has an interesting design. Most of the time, I'll see I have it active and there are a few units that would fit my team. I think the dmg amp is in a good place. Maybe they can give 5 exalted +2 exp a round to help players make a push towards level 9 and 10.
I honestly feel like exalted is not rewarding whatsoever. Id rather play a random galio than exalted reksai at level 8. most of the time i bleed out playing exalted because either my frontline isnt tanky enough or my backline doesnt have enough damage. Unless theres a good exalted tank or a good exalted carry i dont go for it anymore
yeah its an interesting dilemma where higher cost Exalted units are literally ALWAYS better than lower costs i genuinely have no idea how to even go about solving that dilemma

Exalted should give more exp. It's a galaxy bard as a comp but kinda lacking in exp it can give.

We need Exalted to be 3/4/5 where 3 stays mostly the same, 4 has an increase in dmg and 5 gives 2 exp
