Tunnel Chase / Drug Run - Dom and Brian are smuggling drugs from Mexico to US.
🚓 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS454 - Dom Toretto / Vin Diesel
Engine was 502 GM Performance V8, Year One body and trim, Hanaman fiberglass cowl induction, Hotchkis shocks and springs and 17" Coys C-55 Gun Metal wheels.
🚘 2002 Nissan Skyline GT-R [R34] - Brian O'Conner / Paul Walker
Production team decided it made more sense to get their hands on some RWD GT-Ss and then dress them up to portray the AWD GT-R. So it saved them them from having to disconnect the front driveshafts, as they would have had to do with actual GT-Rs (and which they'd already done in previous F&F movies. Six cars were used in total, with a seventh being built from a fiberglass R34 shell that was slapped onto a dune buggy to do off-roading sequences.
🚜 1972 Ford Gran Torino Sportsroof - Fenix Rise / Laz Alonso
Engine is a Ford 429 Cobra Jet with a Holley carb and fuel pump, and a K&N air filter, among other things. Hotchkis suspension, Wilwood disc brakes with rally calipers on the back, and Coy's C-67 Gun Metal 18" rims complete the ride.
🚕 2008 GT Tjaarda 550R (Mustang) - Malik / Neil Brown, Jr.
Non-car people might just think this is a Mustang GT. Actually it's a Tjaarda custom job with a Saleen stage-2 supercharger on a 4.6 liter Ford V8, which makes 470hp (after being tuned down from 490). Other modifications include a custom pulley and pump in the water pump, high-flow cats, JBA exhaust pipes, Magnaflow mufflers, Ford Racing FR500 suspension, Baer Extreme 14" disc brakes, and 20" GT Legends Gun Metal Ghost rims. The entire interior and the body kit are all custom designed by Tjaarda.
🚔 2005 Infiniti G35 - Tash / Wilmer Calderon
Fun fact, this scene was actually shot in the daytime with heavy dark blue filters on it due to it being too expensive to get enough lighting out in the dessert to look good enough on camera, you can see the cars have shadows in some of the scenes.

Infiniti is their export luxury brand similar to Lexus and Acura, the name G35 sounds better to the general buyers in North America and Europe

INFINTY G35 in the PACK
Since the first time I saw this part I always thought - What's the rush? The caves are sealed from both ends, you can't find the entrances, certainly not from a helicopter at night. So why not just stop and wait for the chopper to pass? Even if they sent ground support they wouldn't find anything.
