Head canon: is he is a 30 year old mail delivery person, but to wanna travel the waste and go through places people get killed in tells me he also did some dirty/dangerous work in his young years to make him confident enough in their skills to wanna do this job.. maybe he did most of this “work” in Montana where he met a nice girl to settle down with. Maybe his job made it impossible to see her or put her in to much danger so he leaves Montana knowing shes pregnant and sometime in the future ends up in las vagas for a special delivery job that he thinks is a normal routine mail delivery
