If this scene existed, it would have flooded the theater in tears. Poor Ironhide, he was shot in the back by a traitor called Sentinel Prime. Glad that Optimus and Megatron got rid of him. Very nice work dude.
Realistically they could melt him down and use his metals. Iron and oxygen can only be separated if melted down, which is exactly what they do to the Cybertronians.

@@czechball6641eh, Que didn’t have a long-term effect really. He was in half of 1 movie whereas Ironhide was in the previous transformers movies. So it raised the stakes seeing ironhide die vs. seeing Que who only got 30 minutes of screen time total

My Theory:
KSI & Crew have found what was left of Ironhide & Decided to put him back together as possible. Due to his body being disintegrated by the Cosmic Rust, they were not able to provide CNA (DNA for transformers) to make a Prototype out of him. Instead they just decided to use his corpse for study & research purposes.

@@jefferykelsey See it this way, Megatron never accomplished his dream of turning Earth into Cybertron or lead the Cybertronian race, he also lost every final battle since T1 and lost his most powerful forms (T1 Megatron and T4 Galvatron) forever and couldn't use them to accomplish his objective either, so Jazz's death *WAS* respected in the Bayverse, Megatron couldn't accomplish anything after T1 and everything went wrong for him since his first death
But, man. Sometime in every battle, need an sacrifice, so respect them in honour. Without sacrifice, who would we be. Think like this, make them alive forever, and see they dead because old transformers or see they dead because they're battle until the last of blood. I was half expecting Optimus to say as he shot sentinel: "This is for Ironhide you son of a bitch!" Or something like that.
Honestly, this would’ve been a really cool scene for the movie. Does it make sense? Not really. But it still would’ve been a nice little scene, I’m honestly shocked Michael Bay didn’t think about something like this. Sure we got to see the remains of Ratchet, but not our boy Ironhide, then again he turned to dust like an Avenger from Infinity War. But hey, Michael Bay totally could’ve come up with a bullshit reason why some of Ironhide’s body didn’t turn into dust immediately. I mean Michael Bay made Topspin and Barricade return in The Last Knight after we thought they were killed.

The lore in Bayverse is so nonexistent that hardcore fans just make up their own head canons because the films never explore certain plots

@@bouncyblight2001I would argue that Sam's photo is in Edmund's mansion as he's a Witwicky but not an official Witwiccan. The latter are assigned to protect the former, so when Edmund says he's the last Witwiccan, he means the last protector, not the last Witwicky (as he is not a Witwicky) so Sam and his parents are still alive but possibly in hiding since Cemetery Wind/Lockdown would have tried to hunt them to interrogate them for Optimus' location. Who put them in hiding? Sir Burton himself.
It was heartbreaking to see Ironhide die and it would have been more heartbreaking to see him being used for parts by the KSI

I hated that nobody brought up his death after he died. I seem to recall what followed immediately after was Sam Witwicky and his parents talking about…something because that more important?

Right but drag out mourning Bumblebee’s death that’s what irritated me the most of these movies they don’t acknowledge any other Autobot dying, but if Optimus and Bumblebee die we gotta spend the entire movie listening to them mourn about their deaths and about ways to bring them back
This looks A LOT like a fan animation, not a deleted scene
I heard the reason why they killed off Ironhide is because the vehicle he turned into was discontinued and they should of had him temporarily transform into a van as a reference to G1 ironhide like optimus prime and Ironhide would be in Age of Exstinction as the van but later scan a GMC Sierra as his new mode. The one who would die instead of Ironhide woulde be dino since Dino was originally going to die instead of Que. So maybe this would of been a lot more epic.
The thing about Dino is he wasn’t allowed to die, per Ferrari’s rules on what had to happen for their car to be used the movie. He had to get screen time as a lead vehicle during a couple driving scenes, had to be an autobot, his full transformation couldn’t be shown (why he transformed so quick and had no stealth force mode), nor could he die.
In fact he was supposed to appear in transformers 4 as when the writing started, it was revealed that (originally) only 2 new autobot vehicles were supposed to be created. Those were Hound & Crosshairs. Drift wasn’t included till later once Dino was ruled out. Dino was ruled out as his original voice actor had passed away (following another rule that they had to use an authentic French voice actor for Dino)

These movies didn’t always knew how to do a great disservice to the Transformers franchise. That’s just your opinion. Aside from wanting more from some characters, they weren’t that bad. These movies always knew how to do a great service to the Transformers franchise. The movies helped make Transformers relevant again to the world and had their best ideas influence shows such as Animated and Prime. The entertainment value was usually great and at least every character had their moments. The movies were good despite their flaws until TLK maybe being the first to do a disservice but even that didn’t last long due to the success of Bumblebee in the year after. Bumblebee instantly improved the franchise since then so the impacts of TLK were forgotten. Just cause you hate the movies doesn’t mean they always knew how to do a great disservice to the Transformers franchise. That was never their intentions. Stop having a negative mindset.

hey dude i have an idea for a video u could make. maybe u could do a deleted scene for the mexico city battle in tf4 that left optimus being battle damaged by cemetery wind when they attacked him. it was mentioned in the film that thats how he ended up in his battle damaged form when he met cade but we never actually got footage of that battle sadly

I don't care if this is real or not. Talk about ouch in the heart. At least Jazz and Ratchet got a grief reaction. Poor Ironhide is never brought up, by anyone, ever again. Yeah Yeah they show a photo of him here and there but even that is never discussed. It's like old boy never existed, I mean photos, that's all Ironhide gets. This Guardian, Bodyguard, Weapons Specialist, Defender, most loyal of the Autobot kind. This is all he gets, these flat, ignored photographs. I'm sorry but Ironhide deserved way better than that from N.E.S.T and especially from his fellow Autobots. This is something that makes me extremely unhappy, I mean Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, Ratchet, William Lennox, Robert Epps, Sam Witwicky, that's cold guys, and y'all know it. I am deeply disappointed in these characters, it made a royal class A Hole out of everyone. Especially Optimus Prime.

This is one of the biggest issues I have with the Michael Bay Transformers movies as a whole tbh. Other than Optimus and Bumblebee, the Bay movies don't treat the Autobots as actual characters, just generic background entities whose purpose is to spout cheesy one-liners and die for dramatic effect. Jazz, Ironhide, Wheeljack and Ratchet are all used for cheap shock deaths and aren't given the proper characterisation they deserve, especially in the case of Jazz who we barely got to know before he was killed. It's like Bay was relying on our pre-existing nostalgia for earlier versions of these characters from other TF series, so he didn't bother giving them the attention and respect they needed. Too much focus on the Human characters, barely a thought given to the actual *Transformers* of Transformers
