Funny You Should Ask is an outrageous new game show that believes every question always has a funny answer. In each half hour episode, six superstar comedians try to help two contestants win a big cash prize.
The celebrity is asked an interesting trivia based question and responds with a killer joke. After the laughter subsides, the comedian answers again, this time trying to respond correctly. The contestant must then decide if he thinks the comedian’s answer is right or wrong. After three laugh filled rounds, the contestant with the most money goes on to play the end game for a chance at the big cash prize. Every episode is jam-packed with more laughter than any of today’s hottest sitcoms.

yes ..I just found this random clip of this show.Never heard of it before.Within seconds of the first question asked to Jon Lovitz.His comedic first response followed by his real answer made me immediately think Oh,this is just a copy of the Hollywood squares format. Give a funny response first followed by a real answer.

Wait, don’t crickets rub their hindlegs together instead of their wings? Or are that grasshoppers? 11:11
Male crickets will either rub their hind legs or their wings to create the chirping sound as their mating call. majority of the time when they rub their legs together (females included) it’s to clean off dirt seeing their ears are technically behind their knees.
Grasshoppers also chirp but do it very differently. Instead of doing one or the other, they kinda combine by rubbing their hind leg on their wings.
I took entomology in high school and it was really fascinating learning about the two.

The jokes are fine but the show itself is a nightmare. It's too kitschy. Too 80's to sit through.
