perseverance is key in tarkov. Yesterday i lost 5 kits on woods but kept pushing for the tasks, got 3 of them done and hauled a good chunk of money out of that raid... 2 oscopes, 1 gpu, 2 skulls and a roller, plus some extra goodies!

That intro fight... I dream of armor being fixed someday and some sort of knockback/stun mechanic. You don't shrug off buckshot/slugs/rifle rounds to the head like nothing happened. Not to mention gaps between armor, neck and shoulder areas don't seem to be properly modelled, they act like they're fully armored.
The more fairtx does this challenge, the more horse-like sounds he makes 😂😅 you gotta blow steam off between raids brother, it's getting weird up in here 😂

@FairTX whenever you need gear or wins, go factory naked with pistol. Don't move a muscle when you spawn. Scav will rush you since you got no gear on. Its important not to move as you spawn so they don't change their course. Then you loot and extract. Once you got gear on they wont rush you or be more aggressive to you anymore. You will never be empty of gear anymore...

Pro Tip from your situation in the beginning, even though it would not have changed your circumstances, but a perfect example to share a tip.
1: Don't move your gun back and forth to look for the guy. You move, you make noise. Our eyes are very adapt to seeing movement. You increase your odds of being seen and heard. Move your head, not your body.
2: Your still to PVP hungry. You need to learn to see attrition and never take odds against you. 12:34 is a 2v1 situation. You had great odds dropping the first, but you lose odds on the second. Arbitrary math, you had a 33% chances of surviving a 2v1 fight. You should not have engaged, you should not even have moved. Your best play was to let them pass. This is a hard skill to learn as it goes against every reason you want to play video games.
And that is at the core of what this game could be about. A simulator to learn when to engage and when to fall back. Your survival rating is very closely attached to your econ in this game. Survival is Progression. Now I know the current meta with having an infinite Market goes against the meat of what I'm talking about, you will be more successful playing the meta. But if your playing Hardcore, you have to be real about why your playing hardcore. You still have to respect Attrition.

@@1SquidBoyAgreed! He does stuff like this all the time and wonders why his survival rating and progression is none existent.
Even when I don't play a Hardcore, I've got the Standard Account, I have to play quite conservatively to build up my account before I start doing the fun/crazy stuff. I find that till I'm about level 40 when my hideout is mostly put together and I don't need income for that. It can go into whatever/however I want to play.
Hardcore is that, but at a much much slower pace. I love it because the challenge is to see how well I survive, not how good at PVPing I can do. There are 'better' PVP games. Not to say that this is not a fine example of one!
When I play a Hardcore Wipe, I'm aiming for a 70% Survival Rating. I play with gear that does not attract hackers, and I only kill others when I'm mostly sure I will win. If its even close to 50/50 I don't engage. 50% chance at a loss is unproductive.
Discipline is hard to practice, but it is a practice. Develop disciplinary systems and know when to fold them as they say and Hardcore is a lot of fun!

I think your stint as Franktheflank in cod changed your game play style.. you peek and repeek and constantly jig around which I get for cod, but in reckon in tarkov you’re better off staying still.. case in point, that dude at the beginning rolled right past you. Watching the playlist on mobile has been frustrating. Autoplay isn't useful if I have to find the correct episode each time. And on mobile, the screen doesn't show the full video name, so I have to jump to each video to even see which one it is.
