I have the same laptop , Use throttlestop to limit power to 32w to cpu so that it can always run at turbo freq ... It can even increase the fps by around 40%
But the other users can also try this as well, it will not cause any major problem and you can reset it back to default on your next boot, just remember the limit values which the CPU was using before
@@gouthamnair6997 it's because the CPU is thermal throttling, I have uploaded a video on fixing thermal throttling and reduce temperatures for your CPU here ruclips.net/video/hMxN9tK4PHs/видео.htmlsi=jUTH4sFM-Zv186tU
Hi, I really appreciate your video and wanted to ask you something like I also have Lenovo L340 Gaming Laptop with 16gb ram and i5-9500H and with GTX 1650 4GB and I want to record the game Assassin's creed Mirage but actually on recording using obs studio it lags the precut scenes and sometime shows blank screen A help will be beneficial for me like what should I do to resolve ?
For OBS Studio use my settings: Open Settings->Output->Recording There you will find plenty of things, First is Recording Settings there set the Encoder to NVIDIA NVENC H.264. Then scroll down there will be Encoder Settings. There change following as described: Rate Control: CQP CQ Level: 16 Preset: P7: Slowest (Best Quality) Tuning: Hugh Quality Multiples Mode: Two Passes (Full Resolution) Profile: high Max B-frames: 2 And as for the blank/black screen, run the OBS Studio as Administrator and then start recording before opening the game. This should solve blank/black screen issue.
@@nj_mods Thank you for your guidance. i've applied the settings i'll check the recording if i face any error then i'll reach to you. Thank you once again.

I do use throttlestop to undervolt but sadly the power limit function causes the laptop to crash, thats why I don't power limit the CPU

@@nj_mods ruclips.net/video/gZF90_p0ibg/видео.htmlsi=wJQWLYgYiv8xzRD1 i use this values and it works completely fine
