Songs from Seminole Street, week 100!!!
We have arrived! It has been fun! This will be the last post I make of Songs from Seminole Street so I can make room for writing and recording my next album! Since it’s the last, I thought it fitting to play two original songs of mine. The first tune I’m droppin’ is the first song I ever wrote. I completed it way back in high school - maybe 9th grade! It’s called “He’s Always Stoned.” And to round things out, I decided to include my most recent work called “Sunshine and Rain.” I wrote it after the Uvalde shooting, but other events have inspired the song as well. It’s about love and compassion for each other. I am still developing the arrangement, but I wanted to play a tune currently in the works to bring things full circle. I have enjoyed posting these videos for the last two and a half years. Thank you for always watching, listening, commenting, and sharing. Here’s to new projects on the horizon. See ya out there!
