One of those fishin trips you never forget about your dad, your brother and yourself all fishing together, catching fish and having a great time I can remember those days. My dad’s passed on now my little brother lives down there around you all. He lives in Fort Worth Burleson, but our days on the lake and the river that we all there laughing and carrying on and catching fish and what a time and what a memory it is. Jim from Southern Illinois.
I'm so jealous, over here in northern Virginia the weather is terrible. Yesterday was 13 degrees and today the high was 19 degrees, lakes are frozen not thick enough even to stand on. The lures won't sink because of the ice. The who few months were 40s and low. The only I can fish is watching your videos. Thanks!
I catch the black nose Crappie quite bit in creeks near me. They are so beautiful to see when they get to 15”. Y’all was wearing them out! Good times making memories 💪
One of them return spots. I believe you hit this spot last year around this time too and smoked em. I need to find some areas like that around my creeks. I have to search for them every trip.
Just to clarify, you're using the 1/2 ounce weighted swivels? What size Comal floats are those? Love the videos! Love when I hear people say you can only catch crappie in the fall. I reply "903 Fishing...youtube" lol
@903fishing awesome thanks. What size swivel weight do you like for minnows? Love your thru the gill hook method. We go thru the lips and lose a lot of minnows. Thanks again
No. You have to pop the jigs back to you. You have to make them lively. You aren’t fishing with live bait, that is what you just throw out and let sit. Jigs you have to move them.
@@903fishing aaaah okay got it kinda like popping cork for trout. First time getting into crappie fishing. I've fished for everything else but never crappie soooo I'm pretty excited. Thanks for the info
903 doesn't keep illegal fish. Ever. I've seen him throw back tons of legal fish. He is a sportsman, conservationist, and respects our natural resources.

Up here in Wisconsin we got lots of ice. I love ice fishing but watching this makes me wanting spring to come! Great video with pops and broski.
Thanks for watching!
Awesome two at a time. My parents used to do that. They used minnow
Good memories right there. I took a thin sharpie and put a black line on the 10" mark . Lots easier to see. Come on Caleb help pops out a little
I’m no crappie master like you but I’ve caught quite a few, never got one with stripe down the center. Great video fishing with your dad and brother.

nice job
I've used the double jig setup. I catch everything on it

Lubbock TX we call them Super Sport Crappie or SS Crappie

For this rig I am using the 1/4oz, a half oz would make the cork go under water, too much weight.
@903fishing awesome thanks. What size swivel weight do you like for minnows? Love your thru the gill hook method. We go thru the lips and lose a lot of minnows. Thanks again
I call those with the stripes racer stripe crappie.
It never fails they always smoke it when you're not paying attention.
I don’t know if I missed it or not, but was just wondering what your actual water temperature was in the creek?
I never said it, but showed the fish finder. It was 55.2
Hey Caleb, what day was this video done? This was awesome!!!

That's a river not a creek
@@KennethSchweitzer-l8x call it whatever you want. But it says creek on the map. Size doesn’t define a creek or river.
You even kept the little ones you guys suck
😂😂 the little ones?? We kept all LEGAL fish which are 10 inches and over. Seems like an opinion to me!
@debramontez7156 Hell I like keeping the “smaller” ones. They make good whole fryers or crispy fillets.
