To be honest, I am not amazed with G3 MH. Venus is my favourite so far (with Cleo). She is the only G3 doll looking fierce and with a kind of "monstery"vibe. When I first saw videos about her, I was very excited thinking that's it, a great G3! But when I saw her in Smyths, I could not bring myself to spend £30. There is something "cheap" about these dolls. I can't put my finger on it. They remind me of Barbie Extra quality (it is not a compliment! lol). It probably does not help that they are standing near SH dolls in Smyths... and that they are overpriced and not very reduced either. I love og MH. They have a charm and appeal I don't find in G3 dolls. It is good for me really because I am running out of space lol. There is a bright side to everything! I am also doing a low buy in 2024. I am still allowed thrifting of course!! 😉🙂
@darklight4251 😉 I get it totally 😊 we all have our own aesthetic as far as what speaks to our individual Dolly Collector Hearts 💕 The quality with Mattel is all over the place so I get that concern too 😉 I feel like the G3 quality is way better than most of Mattels line up as of late but there's always hits & misses with any doll company 🤷♀️ Oh of course there's always room for thrifting Dollies 😁🤣🤣🤣
