@@keenanbartlome8153 I own the real deal MDRX and I was shocked at how much of it is identical. All the major pins, screws, and even the trigger bar and buttpad are identical. Even the barrel locking mechanism. Very, very cool.
@@thunderofgr thats super cool. great that ill be able to use the real aftermarket handguards with it, and be able to switch them back and forth with my rs rifle.
got mine from jason ,skirmished it sunday ....WOW what a gun ! the trigger response truly is amazing ! and the click click hop sytem is so precise ,loving it so much !
DMR and AEG, two for the price of one! Love Silverback fantastic quality. I have purchased an SRS and Tac41 from Jason at Longbow. Honestly, his after sales care is second to none.
Great video! Quick question, at 8:14 ish when you remove the two covers (one off either side), can these not be removed by pressing / pushing the small button thing on the covers like on the real thing?
Hi, yes you can, the reason I removed the 2 screws (should have said in the video so thanks for pointing that out) was because sliding the gearbox and motor unit back that tiny amount gives you a little bit more room to feed the trigger board wire through.
What do you think about the issues raised by Jaeger Precisions videos, I have pre-ordered second batch, just makes me a bit concerned? Love silverback and love the MDR-X.
The wobbly stock is the first ive seen and have posted a short video on the Longbow BB Facebook page showing 2 other MDR's and how the stock is on them. The gearing is the noise this set up makes and ive another video going up today showing the gearbox from my own rifle that has had over 10,000 bbs through it in just over 6 weeks - no damage. Have been speaking with James @ Jaeger and we are going to work together on a drop in option if the noise is something any MDR owner wishes to change.
@@fergietowers thank you very much for your reply, excellent customer service as ever that has re-assured me. Looking forward to getting my hands on one 🙂
Is there a way you could do a video with all 3 colour versions please. I’ve pre ordered it in black to be safe but I also really like the desert tan & other. Would be good to see them side by side
Does anyone know what battery he used..? Not sure if he actually said..? 7.4v…. 11.1v..? I think Titan already do a long stick type battery like that, or does it need to be more flat style battery..?
They take sr25 mags I believe given the DMR role, but I heard they would get an adaptor to take m4 mags like the real ones. If they took m4 mags they probably wouldn't be considered a DMR for milsim and scenario games and I think that would be a bigger L.
Probably one of, if not, THE most anticipated releases this year in Airsoft.
Outstanding!
Thank you kindly!
Are any parts reused from the real steel mdrx?

Fantastic breakdown, will 100% be grabbing one as soon as you get them in stock again.

Well I’ve placed my order, thanks LongBow! Once Titan come out with a battery that fits, think I’ll be running my MDR-X as a DMR 😎
Great video. Can't wait to convert mine to a micron.
Great vid, thank you for information.
Jason, at some point I would appreciate a maintenance/do's and don'ts video on the MDRX👍
2:19 we just gonna ignore R2 in the background calling for help
Ha ha - that would be my sons Tamagotchi that he lost and cannot find …. Its stopped making noises since 😁👍🏼

Never clicked faster

We were sent the black and tan as shown. All 3 colour options are available to view on the silverback airsoft website.
you wouldn't happen to have heard if the mantis handguards coming too would you?
Nothing has been confirmed as yet im afraid.
Seen a photo with epm1 in it. Could you confirm if it has dual compatiblity?
I’d love to but cant get my hands on an AR10 EPM1 just yet. Am trying tho…..
Could this gun handle M165 spring OOTB?
How many bbs/s with 11.1V battery? Chrono test please
Will they be releasing an AR15 mag. version in the future?
Apperantly they will make an adapter later
But where's the 'add to basket' button?
Our first batch allocation sold out in record time. Second batch will be available to order soon tho.
Is it compatible with other brands stanag m4 mags or SR25 mags?
Only mags ive managed to get hold of so far are PTS EPM AR10 and they are a very poor fit. Would not recommend

Battery used is a 1000mah 11.1v slim ak stick battery. Current Titan batteries are slightly too big to fit in the MDR-X
Does it have empty magazine cut-off function?
No it doesnt have that function
Do PTS EMP mags fit?
Unfortunately I dont have any to try but will attempt to find out.
Don't load them to full capacity, 120-130 max
When will these start shipping ?
Batch 1 (sold out) will be late Jan, Batch 2 (just opened) will be late Feb
The mag is not dropping in mine.
oh no, we need to wait in germ. until may - august... so frustrating 😥
Well the wait will be worth it 😉👍🏼
Does it take standard M4 magazines? If not, major L

Bro. convert your tamiyas to tplug
J F@#÷ OFF STOP IT (I want one)
😂
Are there plans to release m4 mag adapters?
I think there are plans but nothing has been confirmed as yet
